- Mangrove Boardwalk - Soon to reopen, this is a captivating part of the journey as the path winds through these ancient, resilient inhabitants of the Inlet. Luckily, the platform overlooking the mangroves offers a fantastic view, so there are multiple ways to appreciate these wonders if the boardwalk is not yet open during the tour.
- Koombana Bay - Koombana Bay has surprised many with its history of shipwrecks, earning it the nickname Shipwreck Bay! However, the meaning of ‘Koombanah’ is much more pleasant. This bay often glistens under the morning sun and is a prime spot for dolphin sightings during the run.
- Jetty Baths - Jetty Baths is a tranquil spot that becomes vibrant in the summer with a desirable restaurant or free BBQ area. It’s part of why Bunbury was dubbed ‘The Brighton of the Colony’ in the 1930s and is a stunning hidden gem along the route!
- Wardandi Memorial Park - A chance to reflect and gaze across the sea from this cherished location.
- Boulters Heights - A staircase and loop road ascent offer breathtaking views along the way and upon reaching this signal hill in the heart of Bunbury. Think panorama and thank Alfred Boulter!
- Marlston Hill Lookout Tower - Why settle for one lookout? This one brings us closer to our café destination and involves climbing some of the steepest steps in Bunbury before reaching the actual lookout tower! It’s also a wonderful place to conclude our lighthouse journey.
