Additional Information

Its name is derived from the stone structures used to construct its terraces and the rock inscriptions discovered in the area. Visitors to this location can almost hear these stone ‘voices’ narrating a tale. This place is known as Bunkuany, or ‘the place where stones speak’.
While the archaeological compound of Bunkuany is not as vast as Ciudad Perdida, it features sizable terraces. Like Ciudad Perdida or Teyuna, known as ‘The Second Lost City’, Bunkuany is surrounded by multiple streams and rivers, providing an opportunity to take a refreshing dip during your visit.
