Ramen Experience Extrodinaire - The Ramen tour has chosen 3 great and unique Ramen shops to experience. Our guide Brian Matte was outstanding and very knowledgeable. It turns out that Brian developed a love for Ramen when he was a child living in the U.S.. We couldn’t have asked for a more knowledgeable and passionate guide when it comes to Ramen

Thank you, Sahori. - We had a great time. Sahori was engaging and knowledgeable. She made it fun, answered our questions around ramen as well as Tokyo in general. She made sure everyone was comfortable and asked us for our feedback around ever dish we had, No issue with language, spoke fluent English. Definitely would recommend.

A Ramen adventure - This tour was an absolute highlight of my trip! I thought I knew ramen, but the variety we explored completely surprised me. From rich, creamy tonkotsu to delicate shoyu and even unique regional styles I’d never heard of, every mini bowl was a new discovery. The portion sizes were perfect for sampling multiple flavours without feeling overwhelmed.
Beyond the incredible food, the experience was beautifully balanced with a stroll through the park, where we were lucky enough to see the cherry blossoms in bloom. It was a perfect way to take a break between tastings and soak in the beauty of the season.
My guide was knowledgeable and engaging, sharing insights into each ramen style, its origins, and what makes it special.

Perfect Tour for a Rainy Day - Best tour I've taken in Japan! I did the Shibuya route. It was a super rainy day, so sampling different types of ramen was perfect. Absolutely recommend this experience.

UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TOUR - This was the absolute BEST thing we did on our recent trip to Tokyo! We went to 3 different ramen locations in the Shinjuku/Shibuya area - All 3 of which we would never have found on our own. Because our group is from Hawaii and familiar with ramen, our expectations were very high... This tour DELIVERED in every way! Not only were our taste buds very happy, we also learned A LOT about the history of ramen and the unique styles of ramen that exist today. Now we are able to determine what we enjoyed about each one and the ingredients that contribute to that enjoyment. Our tour guide, Frank, was an absolute BLAST to be with! He was very fun, knowledgeable and incredibly patient as my parents and I pummeled him with questions and requests. He accommodated us in every way which led to myself and my parents having an unforgettable experience that we will recommend to everyone we know who visits Japan!!!

Sahara was a wonderful... - Sahori was a wonderful guide. She was very outgoing and knowledgeable. I just thought we’d be trying a couple different types of ramen. We did, but she also gave us a history and cultural lesson. I can’t recommend the tour or her more highly.

Fantastic way to try something new! - We had a wonderful time on our Shinjuku ramen tour. Daisy was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. We stopped at three restaurants, all with a different speciality. You are able to try two mini bowls at each restaurant. It sounds small, but they add up! Come hungry for sure. I really appreciated being able to try a small portion of something outside my normal comfort zone without committing to a huge portion. Turns out, I loved everything I tried. 😋
We liked the tour so much that we will definitely use them again on our next trip.

Amazing! - Was so much fun and we got to try 12 different kinds of ramen. It was well worth it and so much fun. I wasn’t even too stuffed at the end because it was a smaller bowl so we could have so much variety.

Learned a lot about ramen - This was a very educational evening tour. Our tour guide met us at our hotel and walked us through some excellent sections of town to the first shop. There we learned about the different kinds of Ramen and many different varieties. We didn't realize that each region of Japan is known for their ramen.
The second location was a cab ride away and was a completely different kind of ramen. Once again, we were surprised by the variety, because back in the States it seems like Ramen is a defined dish.
My wife and I thought it was 3 stops, but apparently we had signed up for a 2 stop tour, so make sure you confirm which tour you are getting when you sign up.
Overall, an educational journey that filled our bellies and we recommend.
