Ramen ! - My favorite food is ramen and this tour did not disappoint. We had several bowls of ramen which were all delicious. We also visited an area called Ebisu which was a very nice district.

Amazing Ramen tour must see - This tour was excellent. Sahori was an amazing guide, taking me through the city and my first night and my birthday in Tokyo Japan. not sure I was too keen on the curry Ramen, but it was amazing to try all the different flavors at the three spots.

Delicious ramen and a fun night out - I really enjoyed this ramen tour! Our guide was knowledgeable, charming, and created a friendly atmosphere that made the whole excursion feel like an outing with friends instead of strangers. We explored the neighborhoods of Shibuya and Ebisu and got to sample many different types of ramen. The food at each venue was delicious!

Great Tour For All Ramen Lovers - The Shibuya route was great. I ended up being the only person in my tour group which I feared would make for an awkward experience, but my guide was amazing. We went to 3 really good ramen places where I was able to try many different/delicious broths and noodles. 6 mini bowls may not sound like a lot, but I left very full.

We'll go on our next visit to Tokyo. - Sadly, I fell at Shibuya Station and could not participate in the activity. Bunga, our guide, asked multiple times if I was OK or needed medical help.

There is a LOT of walking - My family from the California went to Tokyo for the first time. Given our love of ramen, this tour was a no brainer. While we enjoyed our tour very much, this tour remains a controversial highlight for us. The Bad: 1. there is a lot of walking. There was a solid 15 to 25m walk between each of the ramen shops, so between the 3 shops we walked in total over an hour. We walked through Shibuya station, up and around bridges over the trains, down some back alleys, through a temple, and then more. We did the evening tour in July. It was still extremely hot and humid. I am not sure what would happen if someone had mobility issues. We covered close to 3miles or 5km in walking. 2. The ramen shops selected were an odd choice. We are from Southern CA, so it was disappointing that one of the selections had a location in San Diego like 75m from my house. The ramen shops did not showcase the "best of" nor were they intended to each show ramen in the classic or traditional sense. It was not a showcase for different broths or noodles. It seemed like random ramen shops with air conditioning and generous seating. Good: 1. We went to ramen shops we would not have discovered on our own. 2. Each person was able to select 2 offerings from each ramen shop. The mini bowls were basically a rice bowl. 3. All 3 shops were clean and air conditioned so the entire group could sit together comfortably. 4. The tour guide provided lots of detailed information about the history of ramen, the development of different types of noodles and broth, and he quizzed us! The neutral: While the tour guide was informative and knowledgeable, he did not have a welcoming attitude. Unclear if it is because we were from the US or what. While waiting, we shared the names of our favorite ramen shops in CA, many of which originated in and have locations in Japan. He laughed at me and said he never heard of them. Fine. I get that Japan is filled with many ramen shops. During the tour, he shared presentation material about ramen from different regions, etc. Lo and behold, my favorite ramen shop at home is listed as being an influential ramen shop bc of their distinct noodles. Oh, and yeah, they started in Tokyo. While he warmed to us over the course of the tour, he was rude initially and defensive about his height.
