Nice tour, even in the rain. - We had some bad luck with the rain, but Nezu shrine and the streets of Yanesen were really great to see. The tour took us into some interesting shops and painting the maneki neko was very relaxing.

Highly recommend - Hina was a wonderful guide (and so was her trainee) and Yanaka is a must to visit, thoroughly enjoyed the old town and we were lucky to be spoilt with blossom.

Explored old town and more traditional Tokyo - I’m so glad I went on this tour! I feel like I saw things I would’ve missed otherwise. And my tour guide was great, I would definitely recommend

Wonderful walking tour in Yanaka. - Walking tour of Yanaka with Mai was a true delight. So much history and interesting facts. Stops at lovely shops run by the owners. Many great food stops. One highlight was a long rest to drink coffee and paint maneki-neko. So quiet and restful, and a good break from walking.

The Magic of Yanaka - What a fabulous guide! It is rare to encounter one who is not only extremely knowledgeable and thoroughly professional but who is also a wonderful human being! You would be forgiven for thinking a tour in bucketing rain would be a disaster but our guide's sunny disposition and passion fof this tour dispelled the gloom. The Yanaka tour opened my eyes to Japanese culture and tradition in a myriad of ways and i will definitely be using Magical Trip tours again!

Kenji excellent guide and tour - Kenji was an excellent guide, he took us to different places in the Yanaka neighborhood, we visited narrow streets and old and traditional houses, we visited a temple, we went to a cafe and drew a maneki neko cat, as we walked we observed old places and went to a shopping street in Yanaka with street stalls where we enjoyed a delicious croquette and then went for a drink, I highly recommend it.

Small town chill in the city - Heaps of photo opportunities and a great leisurely walk around winding roads through the old part of the city. Lovely little houses, shops and snacks. Great to get out of the busyness of the city and slow down.
