excellent tour - Jerry was a fun tour operator. He was full on knowledge and kept us interested and informed. My partner and I highly recommend this tour as we loved it. Saw so much of the breath taking country side, villages, etc.

Enchanting - It was a softly rainy day that added to the experience. I loved the animals and the enchantment of everything! I will be dreaming about this until I’m dead and gone. Great!!

Worth seeing and interesting - The park is almost a must-see for travellers to Ireland who still want to learn about the history of Ireland. There are houses that are still present in the origin. Some of the houses still have people in their clothes telling the story of the house. Also a street with a doctor's house and then facility, a school, a pawn shop etc. The castle built to the heights has 3 floors which are very interesting and steeped in history. The park is also interesting for children. There is a fairy trail and some live animals to see.

Random find - We happened to be guests here during a stopover. Fortunately! We could have easily spent all day here. The entire complex is more than lovingly designed, you won't find any kitsch or outdated items. Everything is wonderfully preserved. A very interesting castle plus surrounding medieval buildings (smith, fisherman etc) plus a small commercial street with shops and furnishings (school, country doctor) from the 19th and 20th century. Jhdt. In addition, a church, a mill, animals, a mansion. For the elderly there is a small train or carriage to help with the large area. To the exit a cafe with very good coffee and delicious snacks. I want to mention the employees, especially "Anvil Hufschmied", the blacksmith: everyone was exceptionally nice, friendly and communicative.

Fascinating, informational, fun trip into time. Friendly, informational and creative staff. - I found that the staff who posed as historical characters were very informative and friendly. They were always willing to sing a song, play an instrument, relate interesting stories about Bunratty history or show how a craft was done.

The History lesson you never know you needed! - I've been to Bunratty & the Folk park on numerous occasions. However, this time around when I visited with my family. Mary from Bunratty house shared some of her great knowledge with us about the history of the site, it's building and the families living in them in the past. She really made the day special for us. If you're ever around the area pop in to get your private history lesson with Mary & you won't be disappointed! Highly recommend.

Best thing to do in Ireland, no doubt! - The castle inside is a pass (and outside is spectacular). It closes at 4pm. All the surrounding riding village (Folk Park) is sensational! You will see how they lived anciently, as well as enjoy many animals and a great walk with the little ones
