Highlights
  • Jagalchi Market - This is the largest seafood market in Korea. It became established as a fish market after the Korean War. Representing Busan, it is renowned nationwide. Visitors can enjoy fresh raw fish right at the market.
  • Busan Gamcheon Culture Village - Gamcheon served as a refuge for many during the Korean War. The creative urban regeneration project initiated in 2010 has been so successful that it now attracts 1,400,000 Korean and international tourists annually, earning it the nickname “Machu Picchu of Busan.”
  • Haeundae Beach - Known as the most famous beach in Busan, this white sand beach stretches approximately 1.5km and spans a 30~50m wide area. Its beautiful coastline and shallow bay make it ideal for swimming.
  • Haedong Yonggungsa - Located on the northeastern coast of Busan, this unique attraction offers the rare sight of a temple by the shoreline, as most temples in Korea are found in the mountains.
  • Dongbaekseom - Translated as Camellia, this island in the southern provinces and coastal areas of Korea blooms around March. Its thick, glossy leaves remain dark green throughout the year. The island also houses the Nurimaru APEC House, a three-story building constructed for the final summit meeting of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation conference.
  • Ami-ro 128beon-gil - This is merely a landmark, not an actual location.

Choi Min-Shik Gallery

Choi Min-Sik, a first-generation documentary photographer, captured the lives of ordinary people affected by war and poverty. His work, themed ‘Human,’ evokes global empathy by portraying the struggles of the underprivileged during Busan’s modernization.

His black-and-white photos vividly capture moments of people, with each portrait depicting Koreans on the streets of Busan.

  • Amidong Tombstone Culture Village - The stairs and walls in this village are unique, as they are made from tombstones, hence the name Tombstone Culture Village. People began living here in tents in 1951, and as the area became more settled, they built homes on top of Japanese graves. While Busan is often associated with the ocean, it is also a city of mountains. From Ami-dong, you can see the entire city of Busan.

Best of Busan for First timer - Love this trip experience. Mr. Jay picked us up on time and took us to the train ensure that we got to our seats. When we arrived in Busan, our guide Mira already waited for us and she was the best! She took us places per our request, plus additional area per her suggested which we also appreciate. She was very friendly, patient, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. She took us to a very nice seafood restaurant by the beach and we had a very nice meal there. She answered our questions and allowed time for us to stop and take pictures whenever we wanted. Then she took us back to the train station and ensure we got to our seat as scheduled. Definitely memorable experience.

Fun educational tour . - Min was great and very informative. She took us to a lot of places( highlights of Busan) from East to West. We learned a lot from her. We especially enjoyed the picnic at the Ahopsan Bamboo Forest overlooking the pond and saw the film location where several k-dramas were filmed.

A touch of Busan - Could not have asked for a better day. Picked up from our hotel, taken to Seoul Station and taken to our seats on the fast train to Busan. Jay was our Guide for the day, and was waiting for us when the train arrived. We were taken to see a wonderful mixture of what makes Busan what it is. A Buddhist Temple, the Beach, two Culture villages, the UN Cemetery , and the Fish Market. Mentioned that we wanted to experience Korean BBQ and we had an enjoyable lunch experience, which added to a great day. Finally got the train back to Seoul. I highly recommend this tour.

Day trip to Busan - We had a wonderful experience with Jay! He was knowledgeable and took us to interesting places. He took special care of my 81yr old Mom by offering her a walking stick, step stool to get in the car and avoided locations with too many hills. Jay was very relatable and catered to our needs. I highly recommend Jay to anyone who is traveling to Busan!

Rain couldn’t spoil a great One Day Trip from Seoul to Busan by KTX - Tour Guide Lee Ji-eun(Jay) ensured our safe delivery to Seoul Station for the KTX and back to hotel at either end of this day trip. We were met by another excellent Tour Guide Mr Soloman in Busan. Despite rainy weather he ensured we had the best experience possible of this great city in this short time. He was very knowledgeable and had good English skills. The visit to Dongbaek Island and the Nurimaru APEC House was very interesting. We enjoyed the culinary delights of silk worms at the beautiful Haedong Yonggungsa Temple! The meal with Solomon at the recommended restaurant near the Jagalchi fish market was great. One day was not enough to do this fantastic city justice.

One day trip to Busan is short but great experience! - Our tour guide (Julia) was very knowledgeable and friendly. The trip was just one day so it was pretty short but Julia managed to take us to the top three locations that we wanted to visit and gave us a lot of great information as we were touring these places. Definitely recommended!

Fun day trip from Seoul - This was a very nice introduction to Busan for us as first time visitors to South Korea. The hotel pickup was prompt, and our driver escorted us all the way into the train to point out our eats. In Busan we were met by our very friendly and informative guide, Hyounghwa. She is very knowledgeable about the city, and kept the pace of the tour just right so we saw many sights, but never felt rushed. It is a long day as the round trip by train consumes 5 hrs, but it is well worth it. I highly recommend it, and thank you, Hyoungwha, for a fun day in Busan!

Kind and informative guide - Really amazing experience. Convenient hotel pick up in Seoul for drop off at the train station, where we were assisted to locate the train at Seoul Station. Upon arrival in Busan, Mr. Solomon greeted us and took us on our tour. A packed day with lots of stops, but absolutely worth it. Mr. Solomon is very knowledgeable and kind. Would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a one-day trip to Busan.
