Insiders’ view of Margaret River - We had a wonderful time on this three day, two night group tour of Margaret River. Our tour was enhanced by the guides’ long-standing personal connections to the area. We really felt like we had an insiders’ tour. All of the included activities were great and the wine tastings were surprisingly high-quality! The accommodations were fine, manage your expectations – but we were happy to have a washer and dryer in the unit. The bed was comfortable, it was quiet and we slept great. All in all, when we left after three full days of touring, we had a better appreciation for an understanding of this beautiful part of Australia. Definitely recommend this one!

Fabulous McLeod 3 day tour of Margaret River region - It was a great way to end my month in Australia and I am currently basking in all the lovely memories on a chilly day in England. The tour is put together so well with a great variety of brilliant experiences. I learned so much about the forests, their special trees and what they have been used for, the wines, the coastline, the rivers, the honeys, the coffee, the chocolate and it was great to visit the horses at Neil’s place. Augusta was charming and I loved walking the entire length of Busselton jetty and back again, learning about Margaret River’s sand bar and seeing where the Southern and Indian oceans meet at Cape Lewin. I was’ blown away’ by the whole tour. Rob was a brilliant guide for the first two days. It is a beautiful region and he really brought alive all its wonders and amazing history for us. Rusty stepped in on the Friday morning and we enjoyed two more wineries and a lovely lunch. It was also great to meet the ‘boss’ again on the drive back, to hear a bit of his life story and the recording of the Road to Prevelly was really inspiring. it really put into context our visit to the Greek chapel and the development of the area around Prevelly. What really made it for us was having three people guiding us who are so embedded in the region and clearly love it so much - which they communicate with enthusiasm. Best food and views - definitely the breakfast at White Elephant cafe - great ingredients and chef and fabulous views! The people in the group were very lovely too! I am very tempted to come back again - I LOVED it!

Informative, small group friendly by family run local business - Even before my pickup from my hotel in Perth to the return, I was very impressed with the attention to detail and friendliness of the team at McLeod’s and I highly recommend the 3 day McLeod Tour to the Margaret River region of Western Australia. My trip was booked through Journey Beyond as an add on to the Indian Pacific train trip Sydney to Perth. Prior to the trip I was contacted by Kumi asking if I has issues with steps or using a shower over a bath at the accommodation. My allotted accommodation at the Margaret River Resort was safe and accessible. Thanks Kumi. Our trip on the mini coach with only 11 passengers gave us plenty of room plus a chance get to know each other. Neil included an informative commentary and interesting facts about local attractions. Rusty, our driver on day 2 was equally friendly and informative. Included breakfasts and lunches were at local cafes were excellent quality. The attractions visited allowed ample time to walk the Busselton pier, climb the Leeuwin Lighthouse, enjoy wine tastings at several wineries, visit the family farm to see the animals plus other local attraction featuring Chocolate, Coffee and olive oil • Family run, informative commentaries, small groups. • High quality accommodation, excellent food. • Interesting local attractions offering local products. • Magnificent scenery and cellar door visits I highly recommend McLeod Tours for a great experience of the Margaret River Region.

Wonderful Western Australia - We had a wonderful 3 day tour of the south west of Western Australia an area we hadn't seen before and certainly give McLeod's a five star for the whole tour and being a family owned company even made it more enjoyable. Accommodation, choice of meals, drinks and even a chance to feed and pat their own horses just made the trip even more special.

A lot to see and do in 3... - A lot to see and do in 3 days! Wonderful way to see the Margaret River area. Highlights included: Cape Leeuwin and climbing to the top of the lighthouse; walking to the end of Busselton jetty. More time could have been allotted to these activities and more time in the town of Margaret River instead of the cave and coffee stops. Would have preferred to visit the more popular well known wineries instead of the smaller local ones.

A Fabulous Tour - Wow, what a fantastic tour, where we covered so many activities, which we just wouldn't have been able to do by ourselves. The three day tour included breakfasts and lunches, plus comfoetable overnight accommodation. Our two guides/drivers, Lincoln and Rusty were so knowledgeable and entertaining. Thank you so much guys. The tour covered three boutique wine tastings, a visit to the stunning Mammoth Cave, Busselton Jetty, and Leeuwin Lighthouse. In addition, we visited a coffee roaster and a chocolate factory, as well as several scenic coastal vistas. We would highly recommend this family run tour company for a great way to learn about the Margaret River region and Western Australia.

Knowledgeable and Fun! - These folks are awesome! Our tour guides, Rob and Rusty, were very knowledgeable and entertaining. Everything started on time and the pace was very relaxed. One of our tour companions was feeling under the weather one day and Coralie brought him a meal and shopped at a local drugstore for him. Talk about above and beyond the call of duty! Small group size so everyone got acquainted and made the tour more personal. Very enjoyable tour.

Slide the dunes, see the amazing pinnacles, dine under a billion stars. Not to be missed - A long drive from Perth but well worth the effort. Sandboarding then time to walk amongst the pinnacles plus dinner under the stars made this a great tour to do. One request; give the stars commmentator a microphone so that everybody can hear him, not just those clustered around him.

Margaret River 3 Day Tour, Ruttell Family - Well organized sightseeing tour with wine tasting towards the end which we liked. Lots of interesting history of the area imparted along the way. The places selected by the Tour Guide to visit were very interesting. The trip was fun and went off like clockwork. Neil & Lincoln made the tour. Well done The Mcleods!
