Piatra Craiului National Park - Weather permitting, ascend to the highest peak of the National Park (2238 m). This challenging hike involves an elevation gain/loss of 1200 m. If this hike is too demanding, an alternative route can be arranged.

Embark on a journey for small groups, covering 1 day in the spectacular Bucegi Mountains and 2 days in the stunning Piatra Craiului National Park - one of Romania’s most awe-inspiring mountain ranges.

In coordination with Green Cross Romania and generously supported by the Environmental Partnership Foundation, the Ecotourism Certification System was established.

Experience a single day exploring the wonder of Bucegi Mountains and two days marvelling at Piatra Craiului National Park, one of Romania’s most splendid mountain landscapes.

The trek involves moderate exertion, barring the stretch when we ascend to the summit of the National Park. Commencing and concluding in Brasov, the trek spans 5-8 hours and includes a break at a genuine sheep farm for a distinctive lunch (from June to September). We traverse the traditional mountain hamlets at the base of the mountains. Factors such as weather, and your ability will determine if we reach the apex of the National Park (2238). The journey also involves crossing breathtaking gorges.

Throughout the tour, our accommodation remains consistent at a single guesthouse, where we’ll spend 3 nights.

• Vegetarian option is available, please advise at time of booking if required
• A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
• A moderate amount of hiking is involved; if we hike the highest peak the climbing it is a hard one (about 2 hours)
• Dress warmly: Compulsory sturdy and waterproof hiking shoes; warm clothes recommended
