  • Monastery of St. Maron Annaya - You will start you day in the Monastery of Saint Maron, also called the Cave of the monks, is an ancient cavern - used as a Maronite monastery - carved out of solid rock in the side of a cliff.
    At Saint Charbel Tomb, see where the sainted monk–whose mortal remains emanated white light–spent the last 23 years of his life. According to many witnesses, the monk’s body was found intact four months after his burial without a coffin in muddy grounds. Walk the short wooded path from the temple to the tomb, which today holds only bones of peculiar reddish color.

After you will visit the Monastery of Saint Joseph, Saint RAFQA’s Tomb, lies at 350 meters altitude on the plateau known as ad-Dahr at the foot of Mount Jrabta, in the Batroun area, North Lebanon.
One of the nuns who stand out in the history of the monastery was Sister RAFQA (1832-1914), who bore terrible suffering with patience and resignation.
