The Best “Must Do” in The NT - Great day trip!!! I have been in Darwin over a year working, brought my teenage kids and wife over to visit. We rated the day by these factors. Authenticity, value, and against what was promised vs other operators. Value - in comparison, a jet boat ride for 30 mins cost 4 x more than this whole day trip.. great value for money and the fact we got to eat a great bbq breky, catch fish, and float down an untouched waterway was magic ( thanks Jake, this dude was steering the boat cooking breky, fishing and entertaining us for the first 1.30hrs.. We drove out, just follow google maps !! Easy drive. Arrived 15 minutes before it started , met by friendly local staff, jump on the bus and drive 5 minutes down the track & get off near the jetty where a huge crocs sitting there ( Otis).. Split the visitors up into 2 groups. 1 x on big fishing boat 1 x on the V8 hovercraft Fed the huge crocs. Back to camp Beers, coffees, rest on the big deck or swim in the pool. They finish the day by rotating everyone on the helicopter scenic flight. Duration ( it says half a day tour but we drove from Darwin city 6.30am and got back around 3pm) It exceeded everything above. Authentic Top End local operators with real knowledge of the fauna, crocs, birds. You won’t find a better experience than this in the top end. It was awesome.

Best Day Tour Ever - This was by far one of the best day trips I have ever been on in my extensive travels. A jam packed day that was so relaxed, seamless from one adventure to the next, wow, wow, wow!!! great value for $$$Very informative, funny, fun, great breakfast and even cooked up the Barra my 12 year old caught for lunch. we will be back and next time for a sleep over.

A Day Full of Excitement! - Great day out! Amazing place to experience this beautiful Finniss River area. Staff are hard working, enthusiastic and love their work. Jake and Gaia his dog looked after us so well. Emily cooked us an amazing breakfast and was very attentive at all times. The charismatic Matt Wright was a wonderful host for the day and gave us a glimpse of life in Nature’s playground. Well organised and would definitely recommend this Top End Safari to all age groups.

A must do experience - What an incredible experience,I cannot recommend this highly enough,Lee, Jake,Emma, Pirate and the crew put on the most amazingly entertaining day. Started with an awesome helicopter flight then a wonderful lunch,an unbelievable crocodile feeding experience,an adrenaline packed airboat ride through some amazingly beautiful waterways seeing countless varieties of local wildlife followed by an extremely relaxing and informative river cruise,finished off by sitting on the edge of the swimming pool watching a gorgeous sunset. I cant thank you guys enough for an amazing experience.

A fantastic experience to share with mates! - What an amazing experience, an absolute highlight of our trip to Darwin. From our bus trip with Leigh to an adventure filled day with Jake in the air boat, feeding crocs, helicopter ride with Pirate, it was certainly a day to remember. We hope to return and glamp in the future, such an amazing spot. Highly recommend!

Next level adventure with the team at Matt Wright - By far the highlight of our trip in the NT. The team at Matt Wright were characters and made the experience another level. Put this on your bucket list and what exceptional value for money!! We will be back again that's for sure

Matt Wright Top End Safari Camp Day Tour - I would like to personally thank Matt Wright and his team for a fantastic day tour we took Aug 22nd 2024. the day started with an early morning pick up then upon arriving onsite, we had a little cruise up the river with a beautiful breakfast cooked by the fabulous Emma whilst chatting with Matt. What a great start to the day and Matt was so obliging with his time and willing to chat with everyone. Then we headed back to the jetty where we were picked up by Jake and headed onto the Airboat ride. What an awesome experience again Jake was very knowledgeable and willing to chat about his time and experience working with Matt. The ride on the Airboat was awesome with the big V8 powering around all the little inlets on the river. Then back to the jetty where we went up to the property to see some big crocs up close and personal, topped off with a helicopter flight over the property. All 6 of us had an amazing day and a very big thankyou to Matt & his team for being so engaging and very friendly. Cant' rate this experience highly enough and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone thinking about it. Kind regards Greg Planner

Top End Safari a must trip to do - I highly recommend Top End Safari, Matt and his crew made sure that the whole experience is enjoyed by all. Before setting off we all were given a safety briefing. We had a BBQ on the 1st leg of tour on the river boat which was more than plentyful. Then air boat tour and helicopter. There is also plenty of cold or hot drinks available. You learn more about the wildlife that live in this natural environment. It's a must all should see.

Awesome day out - Top end Safari was fantastic. Matt Wight & crew were awesome. Very friendly, professional & I felt very safe. Bacon & Eggs on the pontoon boat were delicious, Air boat was sooo awesome. Chopper ride was great. I was picked up in Darwin. Lee our driver was very informative with local knowledge & the air conditioned bus was nice n cool. Thanks again for an awesome day. I totally recommend this tour.
