Your safety and fun are the number one priority. There is always 1 instructor to every 7 students, so every participant gets plenty of help and attention. You will be provided with the personal attention you need to stand up and start surfing the waves in no time. Blackdog Surf School is an ASI approved surf school. The school meets and exceeds stringent safety and quality standards. All the coaches are qualified lifeguards with many years of coaching experience. They all hold a Level 1 Surfing Coach Accreditation, Bronze Medallion and Senior 1st Aid Certificates. We have been operating surf lessons on the beautiful beaches of Byron Bay since 2001. Their aim is to give you the amazing feeling of riding your very first wave. Our coaches check surfing conditions of the beaches before every lesson.
