Many revelations about Tikal. - The enormous surface of Tikal. 200.000 people lived there. The restoration is still in progress. Some temples were completely restored, others were still covered. Our guide Sergio was well informed and told us many unknown stories. Besides, he was a very careful driver on the bumpy road from the Guatemalan border to Tikal. And the lunch was superb!

Highly Recommend - Great day trip to Tikal! Quick trip to the border, took about 30 minutes to cross the border. Once in Guatemala, Israel was a great driver for the hr plus drive to the park. Our guide, Luis, was fantastic and we spent about 3+ hours in the park. Absolutely stunning. Definitely wear good shoes! Great experience, would highly recommend!

Fantastic - Smooth border crossing, informative guide, good lunch. A little bit of exercise involved in climbing temples, but that's voluntary.

Good Tour, could be a bit better - Very professionally done tour from pick up, transfer through Guatemala and the transportation to Tikal. Clean, safe, modern vehicle, good English skills. Nice tourist trap shops and restaurants, but all very clean and safe feeling. It is a long trip from Belize, so that is important. Only negative was our guide didn't seem super informed or just bored, and we were hoping for a more educational and insightful tour. Otherwise, it was well done and do recommend it. It is an early start however and takes the whole day. If you really want to learn and see Tikal, you probably need 2 -3 days. so much to explore and learn about.
