Highlights
  • Gowlland Tod Provincial Park - A beautiful hike through a lush rainforest, covered in moss leading out onto the inlet where we occasionally see otters, sea stars and tons of shellfish
  • PKOLS (Mount Douglas Park) - Get an amazing 360 degree view of the city of Victoria, the Coast Mountain Range, including the impressive Mount Baker on clear days, the Saanich inlet and the Salish Sea. We will either hike or drive to the top of the hill for one of the most spectacular view in Victoria.
  • Shaw Centre for the Salish Sea - The Sydney Aquarium is an amazing collection of small sea creature that live in the ocean surrounding Victoria. Marvel at the colourful sea stars, jellyfish, anemones and fishes and dip you hands in the touch pools to feel some of the creatures who live in them.
  • John Dean Provincial Park - This beautiful park is the only Old Growth forest in the city. With it’s amazingly tall and wide Douglas-firs and the quaint turtle pond this park is sure to leave an impression. The trail will also lead us to an impressive viewpoint over the ocean.

Enjoy the best of Victoria by hopping on this adventure tour.

Start the day by hiking through the Rainforest of Vancouver Island and wander down to the inlet for a beautiful view of the water.

Next, we will wander up PKOLS/Mount Doug for the most amazing 360-degree view of Victoria, the Coast Mountain and the Salish Sea. This is where we will eat our complimentary lunch. After this vista, we will take the short coastal drive up to Sydney to visit the Center for the Salish Sea, a beautiful aquarium full of colorful jellyfish, anemones, fishes and creatures of the sea surrounding Victoria.

For our last stop, we will visit the beautiful Old Growth forest of ȽÁU,WELṈEW̱ / John Dean Park.
