Hike Description:
Enjoy a guided 5.0km (2.5-3.0hr) hike a top the Niagara Escarpment that will take you through a peaceful mature, mainly deciduous forest on route into and out of the majestic Singhampton Caves.

The caves are open to the sky for those uneasy with tight spaces. Beyond discovering the main caves this trail offers a lookout over the Pretty River Valley and distant Georgian Bay and many smaller crevices to explore.

Your guide will work with you to customize your return route based on your interests, some routes offering more beautiful lookouts, others more cave and crevice exploration opportunities.

What to bring:
Water, snacks, appropriate clothing for the weather and closed toe shoes are required.

Nottawasaga Bluffs Caves tour vs. the Singhampton Caves tour:
Singhampton caves are all open, have taller walls making them more grandeur. The Nottawasaga Bluffs main caves are less numerous, but side caves offer more closed/underground discovery options and a larger lookout point.

Amazing Experience!! - We had an amazing time! I booked this for a girls weekend with my daughters and had the best time ever. The caves and hike had breathtaking views and our guide Sue was top notch! We felt like she was apart of the family by the end. We will definitely be booking again!

A fun adventure!! - We just did the Singhampton Caves hike with Sue, and boy did we love it!! From the get go, Sue made us feel comfortable with her easy going personality. She gave us an adventure that we'll remember for years to come! She encouraged us to go out of our comfort zones (within our limits) and showed us that we can do more (way more) than we thought we could! It turned out to be a most exciting adventure! Thank you so much Sue! Leah & Michael

A cool oasis for a geographical adventure - Our adventure guide today was Sue. She was awesome! The directions to the hiking site were clear and there was ample parking. The trail to the caves was so beautiful, with tall trees making wonderful shade on our hot day. Sue tailored her speed to our group's needs, taking plenty of rest breaks. Definitely bring water. The slots, caves and rock nooks were perfect for my 13 year old nephews to explore. The cooler temperatures in the caves was welcomed. I found the flora and fauna to be so varied, especially the ferns. We had options to explore or hang back if the terrain was too much or spaces too tight. A short drive from Collingwood or Wasaga Beach. I would highly recommend this adventure!

Great Adventure - The views were amazing especially once inside the caves. My guide Sue was really knowledgeable about all of the surrounding areas and sounds (angry Red squirrel) lol, and took some really awesome photos 😁

A must! - Lisa, our guide, was wonderful and informative. She was also very knowledgeable and helpful. She was very engaging and even gave us great tips for restaurants and things to do in the area. She was excellent at her job and you could tell she enjoyed doing it.

Awesome evening hike. - Signed up as part of my birthday celebrations and treated to an evening hiking out to the caves and exploring. Not gonna spoil it - but we were glad of the crampons and head torches supplied by Lisa and Sue who are clearly in their element. Both guides are warm and welcoming, professional, knowledgeable about the area and effortlessly attentive to the needs of the Group. They were right about me taking an extra layer! I am very happy to recommend Step it Up Adventures and will definitely be signing up on another tour. Thanks guys!!!

An evening hike with great views, a good mix of people, and outdoor activity. - I joined Step it Up Adventures for a night hike and had to write to recommend it to others in the Collingwood area. I had an amazing time! The 3 guides were knowledgable, super-friendly and led us through a great experience. As a Collingwood resident and hiker, I thought I knew all the great spots, but this was a new trail for me. It was also fantastic to experience at night. The guides were well-prepared and helped other hikers when needed. A truly great time for novice and experienced hikers. I recommend using Step it Up Adventures for a great day or night of activity with friends.
