Great trip, great people, fantastic guide! - Alex was an incredible guide and the entire experience was fantastic and well organised from start to finish. We got to see so much including cruz del condor, the colca canyon trek, hot springs and more but nothing felt rushed. The hotel also had a swimming pool and was in the middle of the canyon in a beautiful little village known as the Oasis. Thank you for an unforgettable trip Alex, you were the best!

Great hike, great guide! - What a experience! If you're in Arequipa, don't skip this tour. Amazing views, challenging hike, and incredible and knowledgeable tour guide (Rafael). I strongly recommend both our guide and the Colca trek 2d/1n.

Colca canyon trekking 2D/1N - The tour was well organized and worked very well overall. The accommodations and also the food were consistently good (for the price of course you should not expect star cuisine). The Trekkingist for semi-sporty people no problem. Our guide Carlos was really great. He explained many and was always helpful and funny.
Overall a very nice experience.

A great experience - despite altitude sickness. Very professional guides! - Thanks for the great tour!
On the way to the canyon I unfortunately became altitude sick but the guide on the bus (Hans) responded great, looked after me perfectly and talked me into the following stops well. I felt in very good hands and went through the hike despite the altitude. It was definitely worth it because we saw breathtaking landscapes and learned a lot about the canyon from our guide Eric. The accommodation in the oasis was simple but clean and there was a hot shower. The food was very good.
On the way back on the second day you will experience breathtaking landscapes and can see Alpacas up close. A beautiful experience!
I can highly recommend the tour, but you should be quite fit. I had muscle soreness for 4 days afterwards :D

Fantastic trekking experience - Amazing trek of Colca Canyon! A special thanks to Frank who was a fantastic leader and helped us so much (which was especially helpful as it was my first proper hike using hiking poles).

Very good experience. - The trekking was amazing but quite hard if you are not in good physical shape. The Erick monitor was very attentive to the group throughout.
Very good experience

Colca Canyon - Our guide Rafael was attentive, knowledgeable, kind and funny!! The accommodation had a great pool which was very appreciated after a long day of trekking! The hot springs on day 2 is a must and was so refreshing!!!! The ascending trek in the morning was very difficult. Rafael was very patient and encouraging.

Trekking 2 days at the Colca - Our experience with Oasis Palmeras Travel very good. The trekking is quite hard because of the steep descent to the Oasis and the climb the next day, but the Canyon has very nice views. The rest of the tour stops to see condors, vicuñas and volcanoes highly recommended. Highlight the work of Guide Carlos, who helped us and was very attentive at critical moments of the trekk. Driver Jesus seemed very prudent.
If you are fit it is a highly recommended excursion.

Great hike/experience but also challenging! - I didn't really know what to expect after reading the description. Maybe I should have done the 3-day trek given my condition. The visit to the condors was great. When we were assigned I was with 4 young boys in good condition. I found it tough but guide Iwan helped me a lot and even walked to the top with me separately and sometimes carried my bag. Iwan is a very good guide with a lot of knowledge and he helps you when you are having a hard time. If I had known it would be such a tough hike I would have packed lighter and walked with poles. Anyway the view and nature were beautiful and it was a great experience. The overnight stay was below par. Dirty rooms, hard bed, hole in the door, cold shower and lots of insects. On the 2nd day I enjoyed the stops at the volcanoes, alpacas and hot springs. In the end it was a very nice experience!
