- Fortaleza de Santa Catarina - Continuing along the coast, the tour passes the beaches of Camboinha and Formosa, arriving at the port town of Cabedelo. Here, guests will visit the Colonial Fortress of Santa Catarina, a key historical site that served as the city’s main defense against Dutch forces during the Portuguese rule of Brazil. The fort offers stunning views of the ocean and beaches, and visitors will also see the official starting point of the Trans-Amazon Highway.
The return trip includes a stop for lunch (not included), with time to enjoy a swim in the sea. Be sure to sample the region’s diverse selection of freshly caught seafood dishes.
