Great experience, would do it again! - We went on a full moon, which meant high tide and less visibility for the bioluminescence, but the entire experience was great! And the guides brought a tarp so everyone could see the glowing phytoplankton well when we got to the bay. Eli, Yadiel, Javier, David, and Catalina were very friendly and knowledgeable, and Javier’s jokes during the quick training had everyone laughing.

Bang for your buck bioluminescent tour company - Eli, Javier, Adrian, amaury, and Natalia were amazing tour guides. Very helpful. As a couple, we went with a big group of 20 high school students from Alaska. And because the lagoon is very big, it didn't feel stuffed. Pure adventure was the first group in, so we had the whole place to ourselves for a good 30mins. Mangrove was pretty as well. We recommend this tour company and the guides.

Fun time - We had a great time. The guides were helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. It was fascinating to see the glow in the water. The kayaking was not difficult or strenuous. Would recommend it for any age.

Darn good experience - Last night we had the opportunity to go kayaking with Pure Adventure. The guides (Amawry, Eli, Adrian, Javier) and the amazing Catalina did an awesome job! The are all very knowledgeable about the lagoon and its inhabitants we had a pretty full moon but with their assistance we were still able to experience the bioluminescence. The kayaking to the lagoon was long through the mangroves but enjoyable! I would do it again with this crew.

Great time at the Bio Bay! - The experience was awesome! I was a solo traveler and Amaury, one of the tour guides, paired up to kayak with. Amaury and other tour guides were all really knowledgeable and attentive. Amaury insisted I did not need to kayak and just enjoy the experience😂 Overall, the tour began and ended promptly. Super fun and relaxing!

Decent tour - There are many tour groups so the canal gets a little congested and the bioluminescent creatures are hard to see unless it’s complete darkness. During our tour the guide had to use a tarp to cover us from the bright moonlight to allow us to see the bioluminescent. It was very cool and I would definitely recommend it at least once if you never done it. Kayaking in the dark is a cool experience and the water is very calm. The stars are amazing in the night sky.

So fun kayaking at night - We had a wonderful time kayaking at night! It might be best to check what the moon will be like the evening of your tour. The moon was bright during our tour, which made it a bit hard to see the luminescence but we still had a great time.

No leniency - This was my husband and I anniversary trip and we really wanted to come but I ended up loosing my phone and was not able to call before the tour to schedule. Nothing was accommodated for me after I told them I lost my phone and had no way to contact the tour guide. By the time I called it was too late and from someone else’s phone. Not to mention I was already rescheduled by them for this event. I was not even refunded half of it back. I wish I could have enjoyed the tour but due to unforeseen circumstances I could not go And nothing was accommodated for me. In fact the lady on the tour thought I was lying.
