Cachi - Beautiful place. You pass through all kinds of landscape. The guide knew a lot and was very friendly to explain, a genius. I recommend this excursion.

Great day out - Brilliant tour guide, very passionate offering information about the geography and history. Learnt a lot. Beautiful drive out of Salta - you spend a long time in the car but it is worth it for the views. Would highly recommend!

Most picturesque tour in the Salta region. - This was my fourth day of doing all day tours in the Salta region. This tour was my favorite. The tour guide Jasmine went out of her way to explain things to me, even though I was the only English speaking person on the bus. The scenery from start to finish was spectacular. It was truly a wonderful day. I would highly recommend this tour.

Amazing guide Ximena ❤️ - Ximena, the guide, was simply amazing. I was the only person in the group who wasn't from a Spanish speaking country, but I was okay listening to the explanation in Spanish to practice. Xime made sure I understood everything and was so attentive. She had a great connection with the whole group, making sure everyone was enjoying the tour. It was like being with friends. The itinerary was well constructed and there was ample time to see everything and relax in Cachi. Perfect.

Beautiful gorge tour - The guide cesar was a really nice guy and shared a lot of interesting information along the tour. The landscape is beautiful, changes from green to a colorful desert

The overall tour was... - The overall tour was great, saw a lot of nice places, small markets, nature, tried different foods/snacks on the way to Cachi, and had enough time in the nature park.
Our guide did not really give explanations in English (for us was not a problem because we understand good amount of spanish, but she spoke 80% of the time in Spanish and only gave very short information in English. This was still a bit sad.
Additionally in Cachi they recommend a restaurant, but if you really want to get good value for your money and eat amazing food I suggest you look around the main streets, because the place was shortly "awful" with prices, service and we found hair and insect in our food to which they did nothing. There are lots of good places around with much better deals;)

Great guide, good locations, death wish driver - The guide was friendly and knowledgeable, the locations often very scenic, however, the driver speeding around switch back mountain roads, more or less all the time exceeding the speed limit, was rather frightening.

Company Picareta - We purchased a package via the internet with the company Viator for the Cachi and Los Cardones National Park for a full-day excursion (26/11/2024). They moved back to Tiamar. We were caught in a van where the back seats didn't lean. Besides not reclining, it shocks a lot. When we entered, the front seats were reserved for people who spoke English. I speak English, but they justified that we didn't put it in our reservation. An absurd discrimination that was not informed in the reserve. The back seat of the van is unable to provide any comfort for a full day trip. We refused to spend the whole day suffering in this back seat and went off the van. They refused to return our money. Note that there are already several complaints on the internet about this problem.

Bad experience!!! - Bad experience.
The van passed by the hotel to pick us up and, despite having vacant seats in the front, the guide informed us that they were reserved for other passengers.
We were directed to the last row of the van, which didn’t lean down and didn’t have the minimum comfort for a long day trip.
We asked again to sit in the front seats, but the guide said they were reserved for English speaking passengers. At no time from the reservation was informed that English speaking passengers would have priority to sit in the best seats, which we found absurd because we also speak English and the mentioned passengers were the last to board the van.
We refused to continue the journey and gave up the tour.
We talked to the agency of Tiamar to get refund of the amount paid and the same did nothing, informing that we should look for Viator which is the agency that directed us to Tiamar.
I'm not indicating the Tiamar Agency to anyone. BAD.
In addition to the discriminatory treatment, Tiamar should not sell the seats in the last row for long trips like this, as it is extremely uncomfortable. Especially for older people like our group.
