It's one of the best... - It's one of the best excursions! Great views, nature and time to enjoy!
Gide was helpful, answered all the questions.
We even had stopped on a local festival!

Nice day of walking - The experience was very pleasant. Our guide Monica made sure everything went perfectly. You can see that she is a passionate professional of her work and she transmitted to us in this way her knowledge and respect for this land. The beautiful landscapes. I recommend that you go with an idea of what to do in Cachi so that the two hour stop in the village can make the most of it. Please note that lunch time is included in those two hours

A great tour from Salta! - There were many things to see on the way to our destination of Cachi. The topography and views start getting very spectacular when the road starts to gain some altitude and continues all the way to Cachi where we had lunch in a fantastic restaurant and look around the lovely town. It's the best tour I've done in the region, with the best viewpoints and stops and also the best guide I've had on my trip through Argentina. Karina was great, informative in both Spanish and English and it's obvious she enjoys her work and likes to broaden the minds of the guests on the tours. Her enthusiasm hasn't been matched yet! Yes the trip is a long day from Salta, but for me the price was good and the day is filled with beautiful scenery, cactus of course and wildlife.

wonderful - The place is too beautiful! It is worth it for those who love nature. It has nothing to do with Buenos Aires. This is a region that everyone should include besides going to the capital of Argentina!

Cachi - Beautiful place. You pass through all kinds of landscape. The guide knew a lot and was very friendly to explain, a genius. I recommend this excursion.

Nice trip, but Cachi is not worth it - Nice trip. The ride offered spectacular views, meanwhile at an altitude of 3,500 meters. We learned about the different cacti and the difference between the 4 camel species living in America. But we also stopped at every stand where anyone sold anything (a bit of a coffee ride). But Cachi itself is a small nest that really doesn't have much to offer. Spending 2 hours here was a bit long and not really worth it.

The sites were all worth... - The sites were all worth the trip, but the bus was unfortunately very uncomfortable for a 12 hour day.

Company Picareta - We purchased a package via the internet with the company Viator for the Cachi and Los Cardones National Park for a full-day excursion (26/11/2024). They moved back to Tiamar. We were caught in a van where the back seats didn't lean. Besides not reclining, it shocks a lot. When we entered, the front seats were reserved for people who spoke English. I speak English, but they justified that we didn't put it in our reservation. An absurd discrimination that was not informed in the reserve. The back seat of the van is unable to provide any comfort for a full day trip. We refused to spend the whole day suffering in this back seat and went off the van. They refused to return our money. Note that there are already several complaints on the internet about this problem.

Bad experience!!! - Bad experience.
The van passed by the hotel to pick us up and, despite having vacant seats in the front, the guide informed us that they were reserved for other passengers.
We were directed to the last row of the van, which didn’t lean down and didn’t have the minimum comfort for a long day trip.
We asked again to sit in the front seats, but the guide said they were reserved for English speaking passengers. At no time from the reservation was informed that English speaking passengers would have priority to sit in the best seats, which we found absurd because we also speak English and the mentioned passengers were the last to board the van.
We refused to continue the journey and gave up the tour.
We talked to the agency of Tiamar to get refund of the amount paid and the same did nothing, informing that we should look for Viator which is the agency that directed us to Tiamar.
I'm not indicating the Tiamar Agency to anyone. BAD.
In addition to the discriminatory treatment, Tiamar should not sell the seats in the last row for long trips like this, as it is extremely uncomfortable. Especially for older people like our group.
