Exploring the subterranean wonders of Cagliari is a unique and exciting experience. Beneath the veneer of the modern city lies a hidden universe of caverns, crypts, and tunnels.
We’ll embark on a walk across the historical districts of Stampace and Marina, where we will discover the Tunnel–Shelter of the Salesian School. This long private passage served as a refuge for students during World War II air raids. Nowadays, the tunnel flaunts an aura of mysticism with its red-brick arches lit by gentle candlelight.
Our adventure will further lead us to the awe-inspiring crypt of Saint Restituta, abundant with captivating tales. The journey will conclude at the Archaelogical Area of Saint Eulalia, home to remarkable subterranean relics.
