Start your first day with an exciting reef and tropical beach adventure. Board a classic 16-meter sailing schooner at Cairns Marlin Marina and enjoy the crew’s hospitality with a cup of tea or coffee, accompanied by freshly baked Danish pastries and fresh fruit. As the schooner departs, you can either help hoist the sails or simply relax. After a safety briefing, enjoy the motor-sail to “Pinnacle Reef,” located just 1 km from Green Island. If scuba diving is on your agenda, complete your paperwork and briefings during the journey to be ready to dive upon arrival. Once moored at Pinnacle Reef, you’ll be welcomed by schools of tropical fish. Dive into the water to snorkel or scuba dive in this underwater paradise. The protected marine life includes a vast array of colorful fish, turtles, giant clams, starfish, and sea anemones. After a morning of snorkeling and optional scuba diving, savor a delicious buffet lunch onboard before transferring by dinghy to Green Island. Green Island is a protected Marine Park, featuring lush emerald rainforest, white sandy beaches, and coral reefs. Relax on the beach or explore the island, keeping an eye out for turtles, blue-spotted stingrays, schools of fish, and fascinating shells. Visit Marineland Melanesia to watch crocodile feeding and see turtles, corals, and other marine life up close. After enjoying over 4 hours on the Great Barrier Reef, set sail back to Cairns (weather permitting). Delight in a complimentary glass of wine with your tropical afternoon tea, a perfect way to conclude your first day on the reef. Return to Cairns around 5:00 pm and perhaps enjoy a sunset drink at one of the many waterfront bars.

On day 2, head to the same check-in point at the Reef Fleet Terminal for your next tour. After check-in, board from 7:30 am and greet the friendly crew, some of whom you will now recognize! Enjoy the same culinary treats as the previous day, but this time relax on a 20-meter fast cruiser, reaching your first reef destination on the Outer Edge Upolu Reef in just over an hour. Participate in the complimentary informative Adventure Drift Snorkel tour and Glass Bottom Boat tour as the knowledgeable crew showcases the best of this reef area. Opt for an extra dive along “Wonder Wall” and be captivated by the coral and marine life throughout this experience. Date of travel can be changed subject to availability and also full refund if cancelling with minimum 24hrs notice. Our vessels are open air with good boat movement so less likely to suffer seasickness than some other closed vessels however, if prone to motion sickness we recommend taking travel sickness tablets 20 minutes before boarding the vessel.
