Sail and Snorkel - Great experience travelling 2hrs out to sea while motoring and under sail to dive on a colorful reef with plenty of marine life. The crew were professional, helpful and very safety conscious. The vessel isn't overly comfortable if you are of a mature age, but that's not major negative. Overall, it's a fun day if you have some experience snorkeling, but I wouldn't recommend it if you are a poor swimmer or prone to get sea sick :) BOOKING CAUTION, when booking make sure you are using the Australian site for Tripadvisor or Viator. I made the mistake of not recognizing I was using the US site and paid nearly $100 AUS more than I should of and the Viator customer service was not interested at all in reimbursing the currency difference. I was told I had to show them a cheaper US price for the same trip on the same day to be eligible for any compensation. I WILL NEVER BE USING TRIPADVISOR or VIATOR AGAIN Just another greedy multinational company disinterested in being fair and reasonable.

Perfect day - Perfect day, so well looked after by such a friendly and competent crew. Fab yacht catamaran with loads of space to move around. We felt safe and secure at all times, in and out of the water. Lovely food on board. I don't see how this experience could be bettered. Thanks again to everyone.

Fun day to see great barrier reef - A fun way to explore great barrier reef. We used a catamaran boat, the crews were super helpful and informative. Luke and Thomas as our diving/snorkling master guided us very well. The lunch and snack/fruits which were provided are delicious enough for us who were hungry from activity

Day trip is absolutely worth it! - Great day experiencing snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef. Small party (max 20) on board catamaran. Good guidance and explanation. Good lunch. Do take into account a 5-hour cruise visa versa at sea.

Great Day Out - Perfect day. Small group (only 17 people) plus 3 crew. Safety was excellent. Friendly service. Visited 2 outer reef spots. Have snorkelled a lot and wasn't disappointed. We were lucky with the weather. Snacks on arrival and in the arvo. Lunch was simple but fresh. Can buy alcohol on board but cannot enter the water after drinking. Would definitely recommend 👌

First time trip to GBR - The trip was an interesting experience with the snorkeling being the real highlight. The crew were helpful. The food could have been better and handing out cheese and fruit into the hand could have been better organized. Overall hygiene on board is a bit of concern!!

Beautiful snorkeling trip on a sailing catamaran - Nice snorkeling trip to the great barrier reef with a sailing catamaran and with a small group. For every 14 passengers there were 3 people crew including the captain. The three of them did an excellent job, only after appropriate comprehensive briefings regarding the ship and the snorkel including the equipment (also a diver was comprehensively briefed in my opinion) we were able to snorkel. A session of 1.5h in the morning and probably 1h. In the afternoon. A guide was always with the group. We should stay together, optimal for me as an individual. Perhaps others would have liked greater freedom? In between we were also tasted and at the end we had a glass of wine and appetizers. Overall a very good choice for this trip. Only the reef or these sections fell short of expectations. Whether this is due to the climate or permanent ship movements remains open. Thank you very much the great crew!

Not a good option for seniors (65 and over) - Not for senior (65yrs.) travelers. First and foremost they tell you you must wear floatation devices over 65, but what they are, Ill fitting water ski vest, which are I'll fitted and miserable to snorkel in. It's automatic no matter you abilities. There are other, better snorkeling floatation devices, but they don't seem to care. They do provide a good lunch.
