Good trip - Well organised with plenty to do on this small island with nice eating and drinking places. Only disapointment was the reef was very green.

Good experience but not for coral seekers - A good experience. Nice choice of options for different family interests like snorkeling vs glass bott boat. However, there is no remarkable coral and it is not the best sampling of The Great Barrier Reef if that is what you are expecting.

Way too many people on a very small island! - I don't recommend this tour at all if you are looking for any sort of environmentally friendly nature tour of the Great Barrier Reef. The tour operator simply transports as many people as possible to the island for the day and tries upsell extra activities like parasailing and other types of pseudo- diving activities. Everything is overcrowded and there is a massive line up to get your (well worn) snorkelling gear. The boats and the people keep coming! They pretty much trample everything (including the very dead coral reefs around the island). It's a pity because it is a beautiful small island. They should restrict the number of people going there at any time.Facilities on the island are ok (enough places to buy food/drinks etc.), enough toilets (but by the end of the day they are putrid from the shear number of people using them). Not a great day out if you really enjoy nature and care about the environment. There are much better small group tours you can do where the focus is on enjoying nature without ruining it.
