Great day and prescription masks! - A great day out. Actually swam with turtles! Took our own Lycra swim suits so less sun cream going into the sea and borrowed snorkelling gear - they even had prescription masks. I was really lucky as managed to get some with my very strong prescription but worth adding as a request.

We added on snorkeling... - We added on snorkeling with a tour guide to our experience once we arrived on The Great Barrier Reef. Would highly recommend doing so. Had a perfect day and really enjoyed ourselves.

OMG! Amazing! Do this tour - boat was fantastic and snorkelling was excellent! - This tour was THE BEST!!! The glass bottom boat was cool - the driver was funny and very knowledgeable and the view under the water was great! And he fed some fish was was great to see. The only negative thing was it was 35 degrees and there is nowhere to wait in the shade for the boat. Recommend an umbrella for the very hot days. The snorkelling was so fun - we could go anywhere on Green Island and we just happened to swim with soooo many colourful fish, jellyfish, a few giant turtles and even some reef sharks. Highly recommend the stinger suits and a go pro. It's worth the hiring fee. VERY COOL!

If you get the chance.....do it - We booked this as part of an overall experience on a bigger boat. We first went to Green Island where we snorkelled in the crystal clear waters before drying off and heading back to the boat. We had about 1/2 hour after lunch before we went on the glass bottom boat which was fabulous. The amount of fish we saw was amazing and the boat operator told us about the different coral, fish, sea urchins etc, only issue......it was too short, only 1/2 hour. We seen some turtles off to the side of the boat....bonus.

Green Island - The island is beautiful and the water is clear. The waves were high on our tour day so it was hard to snorkel and the glass bottom boat was cancelled. Disappointing.

Glass bottom boat was a... - Glass bottom boat was a highlight! We saw a massive variety of fish and coral. Snorkelling was difficult with a three year old, but we were able to go close to shore and even saw a starfish. Not a lot to do on the island, but we did make use of the pool.

It was a fun experience,... - It was a fun experience, and we were able to see some interesting marine life. My only complaint is that it was a really quick ride.

Just a fair experience - The island is pretty & the boat ride was nice. We tried to snorkel but the current was very strong with large waves so it was difficult and we saw only a few fish and no coral. Also they canceled the glass bottom boat ride twice (canceled at 10:30 due to high waves, rescheduled to 1:30 & canceled again). Other tour companies had their glass bottom boats going out. Then when they refunded us for missing this, they did it in Australian dollars so it was a fraction of what we paid in US dollars. There was a nice pool. Some restaurants. Small beach areas that were just ok. This tour was not worth what we paid for it. I realize you can’t control the weather and currents but even with that it was just fair

Green Island overcrowded, poor facilities overpriced, rude staff, - Snorkelling at the beach was nice. The water was clear and warm. Everything else about Green Island sucked. One overpriced cafe with nowhere near enough tables and chairs for the hundreds of people arriving by boat loads. Staff frazzled and rude from the pressure of trying to cope. The pool was crowded and, like the cafe, only half a dozen tables and chairs the only other alternative was hot concrete in full sun. $45 to sit on a beach chair at the beach. Probably caters well for the small resort but hundreds of tourists arriving by boat completely overcrowd the place, irresponsible of the boating companies who know full well they are bringing large numbers of people to a facility that cannot manage that. Green Island facilities simply cannot cater to that number of people. 5 hours was 4 hours too long, a quick swim and out of that awful place would have been plenty.

Snorkeling - Snorkeling wasn’t included in the tour ,we have to pay extra money for snorkeling. They provide snorkeling equipment only and glass bottom boat tour.
