Not to be missed - Fantastic trip. We were very fortunate with the weather and had a smooth sailing out to the reef. We visited two different sites. Both were fantastic. We are all certified divers so have been to quite a few different places. We were snorkelling this time but it was one of the best reefs we have been too. Heaps of fish, and the coral was pretty healthy. We saw a white tipped reef shark, a ray, a puffer fish, a unicorn fish, and many many other tropical fish.
We paid extra for the snorkel safari, and whilst this was informative it was hard to hear and snorkel at the same time, so I probably wouldn’t bother.
The on board talks were really interesting. We had particularly chosen this tour for the indigenous aspects and we were not disappointed.
Lunch was decent, although we were late getting to it because of the safari and some dishes were gone. But we certainly didn’t go hungry.

Amazing Reef sites - I went on two different reef experiences, and this was by far the better of the two. The two reefs they take you to dive on are absolutely blow-your-mind phenomenal. I am from Hawaii, and I can say the beauty of the reef sites they take you to in this tour is unlike anything I’ve seen anywhere else. I also did the other tour the company offers, to green island, and the reefs within swimming distance from that island were not as impressive. Lots of sea grass and not as much vibrant coral.
This is for sure the tour I would take my partner on if I bring him here one day. If you are a confident snorkeler, I can not recommend this enough. 10/10 stars. Phenomenal.
The staff are awesome too. Super accommodating. The friend I was traveling with had an emergency appendectomy two days before our trip to Australia and couldn’t get in the water. The staff booked us on a different tour to green island and gave us complementary buffet, glass boat tour, and submarine experiences so she could see the reef too. 10/10 stars for stellar customer service.
Lastly, this particular tour will give you a chance to understand the history, and learn about the indigenous culture, which you won’t get on other boats. Our tour only had about 20-25 guests on it, so you don’t gotta fight for seats or to get into the buffet line like you do on bigger tours as well.
In short, all around awesomeness.

Fantastic snorkel trip and informative too 👍 - Fantastic snorkel day. Cultural and biological information was super interesting as well. Booked the snorkel safari when I was on the boat too which was brilliant with the biologist pointing out lots of interesting fish/corals and giving information. Loved it highly recommend 😊

Beautiful experience in some of the best reef locations - As a first time diver, couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable experience than diving in Great Barrier reef with dreamtime dive. Thanks Paul for being such a fun and amazing instructor. Highly recommend the snorkeling and diving tour to anyone visiting Cairns :)

Fantastic day out - I booked this trip because it was relatively cheap and seemed good value for money.
We were well looked after by all the crew who were friendly and very helpful. The food was very good too.
Unfortunately, conditions for snorkeling were not great at the two sites we visited - the water was very choppy - and everyone seemed to be using floating aids to improve their experience. The crew kept a look out for us and our safety and someone came out to me a couple of times to see if I was OK, which I really appreciated - I wasn't in trouble, but I was struggling. I noticed that they assisted others too. It was reassuring to see that they were on the ball and took our safety seriously.
To finish our memorable day during our return to shore, some crew members gave us a very interesting and enjoyable presentation of aboriginal music, explaining and showing how a didgeridoo is played. Everyone seemed to really enjoy it.
To end our day, all the crew played those same instruments to pipe us off the boat as we disembarked.
As very memorable and enjoyable day and with a company that I'd highly recommend.

Scuba diving the reef - Me and my friends had a great day out on dream time.
We did scuba diving with Sofia as our instructor who was helpful friendly.
she made the experience enjoyable and safe.Sofia had patience and helped me who was a bit nervous at first. She shared the knowledge in a way that was easy to understand.
She took the time to ensure I was comfortable with every aspect of diving
We saw two different reef spots wich were amazing saw lots of fish turtles and even a few reef sharks thank you all and thank you Sofia for your help

Good costumer service - We had booked a snorkeling trip on the outer reef through Dreamtime, which unfortunately didn’t go as expected due to unexpected currents and wind on the sea. We didn’t get to snorkel, but safety came first, and we received a 100% refund since we didn’t get the expected/desired trip. Great customer service 😊

A walk that's worth it - The ride itself was good. The reservations are due to the prior communication from the meeting point, which required the help of Viator and also the fact that the boat moved into the second diving before there was time to finish lunch. Other than that, everything else went well, notably for feeding the fish at the end of the second stop and for explaining the hunting instruments and musical instruments of the Australian Aborigines.

It was good but could have been better - It was a good day trip and I'd recommend going with them however on the day we went we stayed at the same reef all day.
Maybe it was the weather or tide conditions etc but after lunch we were supposed to move on to another reef and we didnt. The crew didnt explain why neither.
The boat next to us "Evolution" did move on.
That all said It was a good trip and the aboriginal talk was good and we couldn't fault the crew.
I paid extra to do the snorkel safari and you dont need to. Just follow the others and stay within the zone they mark out.
