This bespoke culinary and viticulture journey starting from Cairns features a sampling of the finest fare and wines that the Atherton Tablelands have to present. The initial visit is to Lake Barrine to savor a sumptuous breakfast with a view of the volcanic lake encased by dense rainforest, followed by a trip to Nerada Tea Plantation for exclusive tea pairings with local cheeses and to glimpse Tree Kangaroos. The midday meal is at Platypus Park, allowing guests to observe playful platypuses while sampling exotic options like Kangaroo, Crocodile, and other unique treats, in addition to tastings of Tropical fruit wines and liqueurs. The adventure continues to a functioning dairy farm to try their artisan chocolates, seasonal fruit samplings and Macadamia nuts. A drop or two awaits at the Mt Uncle distillery, with the final destination at Jaques Coffee Plantation offering coffee and tea tastings complemented by delectable scones with jam and cream.
