  • Waterfall Wanderers - A full day tour for the young and the young at heart! Swim and explore the numerous stunning waterfalls of the Atherton Tablelands including morning and afternoon tea and lunch.
  • Babinda Boulders - Our first stop for the day is Babinda Boulders, this is a very well-known location as it is a significant place for the local indigenous people. During the 45 minutes here we will show you around the amazing site and tell you the history and legends of the boulders - there are a few spooky stories! This is considered one of Cairns’ must visit spots especially during times of heavy rain the strength of the water passing through the boulders has to be seen to be believed!
  • Josephine Falls - Next stop (and our first swimming spot!) is Josephine Falls! A short walk on an even pathway will bring you through the rainforest to the crystal clear waters and natural rock slide of the falls! Slip and slide down, cool off in the blue water or take advantage of the stunning scenery and take a few photos.
  • Millaa Millaa Falls - Next we will head up the Palmerston Highway onto the Atherton Tablelands to the most photographed waterfall in Australia! Millaa Millaa Falls are known worldwide for it’s inclusion in the Herbal Essences and Qantas adverts. Here is the place to try the iconic hair flick or get a natural massage from the water cascading over the falls. World Famous and a must see on the Tablelands!
  • Malanda - A well earned rest is coming up next, with lunch at Top Rail. Lunch is included but you can also purchase additional drinks if you like and take a break from the swimming.
  • Curtain Fig National Park - See this magnificent Strangler Fig Tree and perhaps be lucky enough to see the eluisive Lumholtz Tree Kangaroo
  • Lake Eacham Crater Lakes National Park - Our last swim for the day is at Lake Eacham. Lake Eacham is a beautiful volcanic Crater Lake. Putting the rain in rainforest! - Great day exploring! Loved Josephine Falls the best. Wouldn't expect to see a lot of wildlife though. Our guide was funny and knowledgeable.

Very enjoyable day even with the rain - Clint, our driver, was wonderful. He provided enough commentary to inform you of the sights you're passing but not too much that it became uninteresting and annoying. The stops along the day were very pretty. Each waterfall stop was about 45mins allowing enough time for those wanting to swim. Unfortunately the rain set in for the afternoon. I would suggest you take a waterproof jacket & umbrella even if weather looks good in Cairns, it's very different in the Tablelands, & can be left on bus if not needed. Lunch was not great as my meal was cold, but most people seemed to enjoy it. That said I would till highly recommend and would certainly do again

The best, thank you Clint for sharing your love of this great part of the world, I loved it. :-) - This was the best day. Great tour guide, Clint, went above and beyond to share his absolute love of the area. It was contagious and we all had an amazing journey. Excellent swimming holes - water falls, lakes, rainforest streams. All with the attentive knowledge and hands on support of our guide. (See photo of Clint taking one of our younger nervous members on the natural water slide). The views were amazing ranging from rolling green farm lands to consuming rainforest and great views of a remarkable part of the world.

Fabulous waterfalls and forests - This tour is a must do when coming to Cairns. The road up to the Tablelands is quite windy, so prepare yourself if you get car sick. All the falls are magic and the walk through the forest to get to the falls are magic. The paths are tarmac and easy to walk on and swimming was possible in all 3 falls. If you are not a swimmer the tour is still definitely worth it! The lunch was meat or vegetarian lasagne at a lovely pub. The tour guide Orion was very knowledgeable and lots of fun. A fabulous day out.

WONDERFUL WATERFALLS WITH WATERFALL WANDERERS - If you are coming to CAIRNS for a holiday then this is a MUST DO Tour through WATERFALL WANDERERS Cairns Adventure Group. The road up to the falls is through a lovely forest but a small tip for those who get a bit car sick, it is very windy so prepare before hand. You will find that it is worth the climb and levels out on top. The waterfalls are FAB and it was possible to swim at all the falls we visited. If you are not a swimmer, the tour is still magical with lovely walks to the falls through the forest and many great photo opportunities. Lunch enroute was a very nice lasagne and chips in a pub with a vegetarian lasagne choice as well. A big shout out to our guide Orion who looked after us the whole trip and contributed to making this a wonderful tour.

Great trip - Very good trip. Do think it’s slightly weather dependent. Our guide was lovely and very informative and I felt reassured with her safety knowledge but quite expensive for what it is.

So, so… - The waterfalls are nice. The amount of time spent on the bus is more than what you spend doing something on this tour. Everything feels rushed. Not sure I would recommend it. The tour guide was extremely nice and very helpful when asked about things to do and where to eat in Cairns.
