Cairns Custom Tours is Highly Recommended. - Michael did a great job arranging this trip. He clearly communicated trip details after our booking. He picked us up from the cruise port right on time, made sure we gathered in the correct gondola board line, and informed us of the time for boarding our return train. In the late afternoon, Michael met us on the Kuranda Scenic Rail station rail platform at Freshstation and then drove us back to the port. We found Michael engaging, informative and with a great sense of humor. Both Cairns Custom Tours and the Kuranda/Skytrail gondola/rail excursion are well recommended.

Excellent way to spend your day - the views from the skyrail and train were breathtaking. I especially liked that the skyrail stopped a few times along the way so you could walk around and really take in the sights.

Very nice tour - It is a type of self guided tour although you have to keep some schedule, the train return. Although we are brazilians and had visit our rain forest it is a nice tour. The museum is small but very informative. People always ready to help and inform. Hot and umid.

Trustworthy service - Very reliable, knowledgeable, and caring. Went out of the way to sort things out when the railway part of the trip got cancelled. We would definitely look for him for any other group tours in that area, in future.

Beautiful immersion in the local jungle, very good organization by Cairns customs tour - Mickael picked us up with his van at the hotel, very punctual and shared with us many aspects of Cairns and Australia in general. His comments were very interesting. He drops the band off at Sky Rail. Sky rail is really great, gondolas like skiing without snow but above the jungle and its lush vegetation. Several stops before arriving in Kuranda. Souvenir shops and theme parks (extra charge) and nice walking routes along the river and through the forest (easy and marked) 1h30 aboard the train, a little long but comfortable and superb views of Cairns Bay in particular. Mickael sends a message to remind us of the train schedule and the stop where he picks us up to return to Cairns. Very well organized.

Michael is the way to go! - Amazing day out with Michael! Great communication all the way and he was right there waiting for us as soon as we got off the ship and also the train! He was a wealth of information every step of the way. Comfort drive and van and plenty of time for the ropeway, kuranda village and then the 2pm train. Don't think twice, book him now!

Yes, stop searching and just book this. Thanks Michael at Cairns Custom Tours. - Adult couple took this trip with Michael of Cairns Custom Tours. In essence, Michael provides hassle free transportation and support to/from the Skyrail and Train from your Cairns Hotel, and ensures that your day on these two attractions are easily accessed. Could you manage without? Yes you can. But, why would you? The price is competitive with personal bookings of just the attractions and your own efforts to hire a car, grab a taxi, or pay for a ride share. So it’s not an extravagance. By the way, aren’t you on holiday and don’t you deserve some logistical support and worry to be taken away from you. Yes you do, and Michael will make that happen while proving local history, information on the Skyrail and the Train, and making this easy. Which it was. Additionally, being in Cairns right before the arrival of the heat was great timing, and both the Skyrail and Train were warm, so bring water along, though you can easily purchase everything you need at Kuranda Village which has its charms, own history, as well as plenty of souvenir shopping if you’re so inclined. We took advantage of the river walk (self-guided and very easy for us late 50 year-olds to do) and enjoyed more of the outdoor spaces than indoor shopping or attractions, but this means there is something for everyone and it’s an enjoyable day. We had rain and sun and it was all good. Thank you Michael, I will recommend your services to friends here in Australia as well as back home in Canada.

Everything perfect - We had a great trip. Despite a technical fault with the Skyrail, Micheal did everything we could to reach Kuranda. He took us to Kuranda in his car and turned it into a sightseeing tour for all of us. The village of Kursnda and the return journey on the Scenic Railway were very impressive.

Skyrail was better than train - We enjoyed the day but you couldn’t see much of a view on the train as you could on the Skyrail so would recommend just the Skyrail return journey.
