• Waterfall Wanderers - Embark on a full-day adventure perfect for the young and young at heart! Dive into the breathtaking waterfalls of the Atherton Tablelands, complete with morning and afternoon tea, as well as lunch.
• Babinda Boulders - Our journey begins at Babinda Boulders, a renowned site of cultural significance to the local indigenous community. Spend 45 minutes exploring this fascinating location, learning about its history and the intriguing legends surrounding the boulders. It’s a must-see in Cairns, especially during heavy rains when the water’s power is truly awe-inspiring!
• Josephine Falls - Our next destination, and first swimming spot, is Josephine Falls! A short, easy walk through the rainforest leads to the crystal-clear waters and natural rock slide of the falls. Enjoy sliding down, cooling off in the blue waters, or capturing the stunning scenery with your camera.
• Atherton Tablelands - This region, rich with lush rainforests, cascading waterfalls, volcanic crater lakes, and fertile farmland, is ideal for adventurers.
• Malanda - Take a well-deserved break with lunch at Top Rail. Lunch is provided, and additional drinks can be purchased if desired, offering a respite from swimming.
• Curtain Fig National Park - Witness the magnificent Strangler Fig Tree and possibly catch a glimpse of the elusive Lumholtz Tree Kangaroo.
• Lake Eacham Crater Lakes National Park - Our final swim of the day takes place at Lake Eacham, a stunning volcanic crater lake. The deep blue waters invite you for one last swim, where you can spot turtles in the shallows or relax and soak up the day’s last golden rays. Your guide will serve afternoon tea here before we head back down the Gillies Range to Cairns.
• Millaa Millaa Falls - We then travel up the Palmerston Highway to the Atherton Tablelands to visit Australia’s most photographed waterfall! Millaa Millaa Falls gained fame from its appearances in Herbal Essences and Qantas advertisements. Try the iconic hair flick or enjoy a natural massage from the cascading waters. This world-famous site is a must-see on the Tablelands!
