• The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - Private guided tours in Cairo start at 8:00 am. You’ll be picked up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza by our tour guide to begin your full-day tour of the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. This museum houses the largest and most valuable collection of Egyptian art in the world, featuring over 250,000 genuine artifacts dating back as far as 5000 years. Among these is a special exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamun, showcasing treasures, gold, and jewelry that were buried in his tomb for over 3,500 years until their discovery in the 1920s.

Lunch is included between visits at a local restaurant, offering a full meal for each person (beverages not included).

Next, you’ll visit Old Cairo, also known as Christian Coptic Cairo, one of the most significant locations visited by the Holy Family. Despite their brief stay, the spiritual impact of their presence is still felt. The Governor of what was then Fustat, enraged by the falling idols at Jesus’ approach, sought to kill the Child. The Holy Family took refuge in a cave, above which the Church of Abu Serga (St. Sergius) was later built. This area, including the Fort of Babylon, is a pilgrimage site for Egyptians and Christians worldwide. You’ll also visit the Church of Abu-Sergah, St. Barbara, the Hanging Church, and the old Jewish synagogue, Ben Ezra Synagogue.

The day concludes with a visit to Khan El Khalili Bazaars, renowned for their fine brassware, copper, perfumes, leather, silver, gold, antiques, and more.

The tour ends with a drop-off at your hotel.
