Amazing trip to Cairo from Sharm - This was such a lovely trip, a bit strenuous as you get picked up after midnight from your hotel in Sharm, then you end up picking up other people along the way before making the journey. This takes hours and you don't get to Cairo till first thing in the morning starting with the Egyptian museum which consists of whizzing around the museum. You can then pay to go on short cruise on the Nile which we did and it was lovely. We then visited the papyrus place which was wasted on us as I would have rather spent the time in the museum instead. After lunch, we finally arrived at the pyramids but yet again you only get one hour to have a look around before heading to the Sphynx. This is again followed by visiting a work shop, this time perfume one. There was a slight confusion as the bus we were on was heading back to Sharm but we paid for two days with an overnight. We told the guides and they immediately organised a private transfer to the evening cruise and meal following by drop off at our hotel which had a lovely view of the pyramids from the roof. The next day we got collected from the hotel by the same driver and our guide when agreed. We had to pay an extra as we wanted to go to Sakkara. It was the best choice we've made as we both loved it. We then had a lunch followed by visiting Coptic area of Cairo, finishing with Muslim part of Cairo. We got dropped off back to papyrus place as the tour of the day was finishing their trip to Cairo there, we managed to get squeezed on the bus and go back to Sharm. Overall, we both loved it and really enjoyed our trip and having a driver and a guide to ourselves for the day was just perfect despite a bit of uncertainty about what will happen with our stay. We just couldn't fault the organisation of our individual plan and how well put together it was in the end.

Cairo pyramids sphinx old & civilisation museum Nile cruise Luxor abu simbel - Egypt escapes who I booked this trip with were really easy to deal with and responded quickly to queries. Flights were reasonably well until the UK NAT disaster which cancelled flights all over. I would suggest NOT to take a transit time of 1 hr as that is too tight our connecting flight was delayed which left us a bit stressed. Egypt is all practised for tourists everyone met and waited for us at all pick up points even though we were 2 hrs late. This tour was well organised on Egyptian side as well all pickups for tours and transfers worked well. They changed our boat at last minute and we missed out on some tours. Keep plenty of Egyptian pounds for all expected tips We were misinformed that trip eddy by horse was dangerous when a car could be used. Also had to really push to ensure our fully inclusive drinks options was recognised whose fault boat staff blamed management but it was clear they original Lou said only from 18-24 really Cairo is noisy dusty traffic worse than london our guide in pyramids Cairo museum was poor I would highly recommend u read up before and also use the information plaques at museums and temples which are often better than the guides. Take Your time at august don’t get push around it’s your holiday and money u paid . I suggest you give yourself 2-3 hrs at Cairo museum (old) but the new museum will be opening soon and then visit the civilisation museum which houses the majority of mummies esp ramesss 2 highlight was hot air ballon over Luxor a must it’s not a prob even for those with fear of heights vertigo Food is great on boat with variety of meats fish salads Nubian village was a tourist trap not really authentic although boat ride there was nice Of course abu simbel is hard work to get to But is amazing be prepared for extras for tours ie £115 Abu simbel hot air ballon £120 Nubian £32 and the tips !! Be upfront and tell your guide if u don’t want to visit papyrus alabaster perfume factories they are set up For tourists and if u look around shops yourself you will find cheaper . Bargaining decide if you want the items and the price u wish to pay then start with a quarter of their price offered if u start too high u can’t go down

Viator need to take charge. - Our private with Fatima & driver Tour on the 2nd day was amazing. To see the Gazia pyramids was amazing also. The only down side was the coach ppl hassled us out of money as Gazia pyramids was £700 eygptian pound but they changed us £700 EGP plus another £2500 EGP when £500 EGP I think Viator should just estimate total cost and make customers pay as this was very bad. What they did.
