Nice Safe Night in Cairo - Omar was our tour guide and he did an excellent job of showing us what we wanted to see at night in Cairo. It started with a horse and buggy ride which was a great way to see the sunset. We then went on a walking tour of a great unique food place, had ice cream at one of oldest establishments in Cairo, had coffee at a local coffee shop and then visited a mosque during prayer time. What a wonderful experience this was and we felt totally safe with Omar. We actually booked another tour the next night through his company. That night we were walking back to the hotel without Omar and did not feel so safe. The rule is you can ask for help but don't take any help from someone who approaches you. They are looking for money and are very insistent,

Customized trip - Such a nice night, Ahmed Saeed was able to take me to the “non typical” cairo by night, he took me around cairo to different places, we had a nice time at the Nile, the bazaar and dinner at a local restaurant, we walked to the street, somehow I had the real Cairo experience. Thank you Ahmed for such a beautiful tour, totally recommended.

Experience the real Egypt - This was probably one of my favorite tours while I stayed in Cairo Egypt. I booked with Emo Tours Egypt Day Tours for the Half Day Trip, Airport Transfer, and lastly but certainly not least the Cairo by Night walking tour. I am a NYC resident and could appreciate a lot of the public areas that were reminiscent of some popular Manhattan and Brooklyn landmarks. My tour guide picked me up from my hotel and a car driver took us to the main square that looked a lot like Columbus Circle NYC. I learned about the recent revolution that took place 5 years ago and the strides that citizens have been taking to uplift their country. Instead of going to conventional touristy spots we went to a popular bakery (the taste and smell could rival Juniors & Baked by Melissa), local stores (not trinkets), an outdoor sports lounge airing a regional football game (American soccer), and some Sheesha all in downtown Cairo. Contrary to the narrow portrayals of Egyptian people that you might see on western TV Egypt has several great colleges and grad schools (which I've visited). There are Mosques built just footsteps away from Synagogues and Churches. Some millions cover their hair and dress traditionally. Others cut or color their hair in trendy styles and wear it out. Some wear nike sneakers. Many of them hang out and watch the game on weekends just like students in the West. Egyptians are so polite that even though the commercial rodes don't have lanes people wait their turn when driving. Take the Cairo by night tour if you want to open your mind to the real Egypt!

My wife and I had a great time with... -
My wife and I had a great time with our guide Amr! We did an evening tour that included a horse carriage ride that took us along the Nile river, past Cairo Tower and Tahrir Square. We also got to hang out with Amr in downtown. We were able to try some roasted corn, Egyptian tea with mint, Shisha, and topped it off with some delicious ice cream. Amr took great care of us and was flexible when we wanted to spend time most of the time hanging out in El Alfy relaxing and people watching. The evening felt like we were hanging out with a friend we hadnt seen in a long time. Amr took many pictures for us including a really cool panoramic photo. I highly recommend the evening tour but you must request Amr to truly enjoy it.

Don’t waste your money - This tour, quite frankly, is just not worth the money. The horse and carriage ride is the highlight, but lasts for a mere few minutes. The rest of the tour is a walk through the busy streets with the tour guide pointing out old buildings and taking you for ice cream. Ice cream is great but you don’t really need a tour guide for this. Lastly, the dinner stop - fine if you want Egyptian food, but if you don’t, don’t bother. You don’t get to choose your meal. The tour is not worth the money paid I’m afraid although Jesy herself is a nice person.

Disappointing - Quite disappointing, We expected a full 4 hour tour however including pick up & drop off it was only 2.5 hours. Seemed like they were in a rush. The horse carriage ride was good however we didn’t stop at any landmarks and just briefly saw them as we went past. They then provided food which was good. Missed out the walking tour entirely. Didn't feel like a tour, more like we just passed by everything and saw it only. Stopped at the cairo tower for 2 minutes for pictures from the outside. Didn't get the option to go in. Overall not worth the price we payed. We could have booked taxi, booked horse ride, eaten and actually stopped at the landmarks and it would have been half the price we payed.

Not worth the money! - Short walk around town with a guide who said very little, short carriage ride back to hotel. Entire tour took less than 90 minutes, cost was way to high for this very basic and uninteresting tour. Very disappointed.
