• Great Sphinx - visit the Great Sphinx, by far the largest surviving Sphinx. It consists of a human head on a lion’s body. The Sphinx was carved from the remains of a limestone mound that served as a quarry for the Pyramid of Cheops.

The guide will pick you up from El Sokhna port in the morning and take you to Cairo in around two hours, where you will first visit the Egyptian Museum. which, in addition to its more than 120,000 exhibits, also houses Tutankhamun’s golden coffin. The further course of the excursion takes you to the great pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. The tour of the pyramids ends at the Sphinx and the temple surrounding it. At the end of the day, if time permits, you will have the option to drive to the Cairo Bazaar before returning to El Sokhna.
