Day 1:
Upon arrival at Cairo Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transported in an air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2:
After breakfast, you will be picked up for a tour of the Giza Plateau, home to the Pyramids and the Sphinx, located just outside Cairo. This visit to the last remaining wonder of the ancient world is the highlight of your stay in Cairo. You will explore the major sites, including the Sphinx. Following the Pyramids, you will visit the Papyrus Institute, where a demonstration will introduce you to the ancient Egyptian art of papyrus making from reeds. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Next, head to the Egyptian Museum, which houses the world’s largest and richest collection of Egyptian antiquities, including many treasures of King Tutankhamen. In the late afternoon, you will transfer to Khan El Khalili Bazaars, a shopper’s paradise and a photographer’s dream. Here, bargaining is an art, and you can find gold, silver, gems, bronze, copper, exotic spices, and more. The vibrant atmosphere, with its music and colorful crowds, brings to life scenes from A Thousand and One Arabian Nights. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3:
After breakfast at the hotel, you will depart for Alexandria, a drive of approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes. Your visit will begin with the Roman Theater, featuring marble seats for up to 800 spectators, galleries, mosaic flooring, and a pleasure garden surrounded by Roman villas and baths. Next, visit the Library of Alexandria, an architectural masterpiece of the 21st century. Your guide will take you on a historical tour of one of the greatest libraries of ancient times. Lunch will be served at the Fish Market restaurant, followed by a photo stop at the Citadel of Qait Bay. A short drive will then take you to the Mosque of Abu El Abbas, one of Alexandria’s Islamic landmarks, known for its tall minarets and domes. You will have the opportunity to photograph this impressive landmark before returning to Cairo. Overnight at the Cairo hotel.
Day 4: Departure
After breakfast, you will check out of your hotel and be transferred to Cairo International Airport for your international flight home.
