The Great Pyramid of King Cheops is the only wonder of the seven wonders of the ancient world that is still standing today, although it is 2,000 years older than any other wonder on the list. (The visit takes around 2.30 Hrs.)
Then,you are going to continue your journey through the history starting with the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities which was built in 1902 and it exhibits a large number of items and treasures (exceeding 12,0000 masterpieces) dating back to the ancient Egyptian period and Greco-Roman period including the marvelous collection of the child king Tut Ankh Amon. (The visit takes around 2.30 - 3 Hrs.)
Then ending our tour with going to Khan el Khalili Bazaar which is one of Cairo’s main attractions ..the district of Khan el Khalili was originally a mausoleum called “el Zaafran” for the burial of Fatimid Caliphs ,after that it became a district for the Turkish community during the Ottoman period , and now it becomes a bazzar where you will find many souvenirs shops ,coffeehouses “Café” serving Arabic coffee and offering Hookah “Shisha”, and restaurants throughout the area. (The visit takes around 45 Minutes - 1 Hour.)
Then you will be picked up to your hotel to stay overnight .

What a great start to my Egyptian adventure! - My tour guide Heba was super knowledgeable, friendly, communicative and I felt very safe with her as well as our driver. I was travelling solo and she took heaps of photos of me even without me having to ask which I really appreciated. Highly recommend!!

Wonderful Cairo and Giza Day Tour!!! - Excellent tour from Heba and our driver - much more detailed and thorough than I expected and a great value! We had a full day and having Heba's knowledge and assistance made the visit very enjoyable - thanks! I highly recommend this team!

Recommended, with some suggestions for planning your itinerary - Having a guide made navigating Cairo much easier and Mr. Tawfik was lovely and knowledgeable. We did a two day tour and started with the museum/city component on day 1 and visited the pyramids on day 2. We would recommend this order as the latter was much more impressive.
The experience was seamless overall, although there are a couple stops that are not disclosed in the itinerary and which are solely meant to encourage you to make purchases (e.g., perfume). While the stop at the papyrus museum was interesting, I would explicitly ask to skip the perfume shop (misleadingly marketed as a ‘museum’) as we would have preferred to spend more time in the museum and ultimately it was very frustrating to waste a portion of the day on an unwanted detour. You can decline making purchases without any pressure.
Overall, I strongly recommend experiencing Cairo with a guide and Egypt Tailor Made was well organized and a great choice.

Thank you for a great day in Cairo! - We had the pleasure of a private tour with our guide Manar. Manar met us at our hotel with our driver Ali in the morning and took us first to The Grand Egyptian Museum. Manar was extremely helpful in helping us navigate the museum and she had so much knowledge around the history of Egypt, the different time periods with the different dynasties. Manar’s English was excellent, making it very easy to understand her and also ask questions. We had a second stop at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization where we were able to learn about the history of how Egyptians lived, tools they used, and the highlight…..actual mummies! Manar again, so helpful in her explanations and stories to help us better understand and enriching the experience for us. The 3rd and final stop of the day included some time navigating through the Coptic Cairo Bazar. This was a unique experience and so interesting! Manar pointed out different traditional foods, drink, and trinkets as we’ll walk through. Ali drove us safely from site to site with skill and ease. The traffic in Cairo was like nothing we’ve even experienced and Ali made us feel safe and comfortable. Manar was so personable with us, we felt as if we had met an old friend. Manar was so kind and made us all feel at ease. We are very grateful to both Manar and Ali!

Fantadtic Two-day tour in Cairo - I had a beautiful two-day tour in Cairo with my friends guide by Sabri. He led us to the pyramids and the GEP on the first day, while to the Islamic, Copti Cairo and the bazzar during the second one. Sabry was very knowledgeable and kind: was always able to answer our questions and satisfy out curiosities. He also added some local tips for food and markets that revealed to be very good. Highly recommended.

Top notch tour guide - Egypt Tailor Made provided us with an exceptional tour guide. Sabry was incredibly knowledgeable about Egypt’s ancient civilizations. He could even read the hieroglyphics. He knew the names of all the Gods and pharaohs as well as their stories. He could interpret the wall carvings without a moment’s hesitation. He knew where the best spots were to take photos. He was enthusiastic, friendly and personable. We spent three days with him and went to the pyramids, Saqqara, the Egyptian museum, the Grand Egyptian museum, the bazaar and the UNESCO Mohammad Ali mosque. He even joined us for lunch and dinner. His driver Moustaffa was also excellent and drove us safely everywhere we went. Having Sabry as our guide made our trip successful and memorable. We highly recommend Egypt Tailor Made. Ask for Sabry. He is a top notch tour guide!

Great company...great guides. - Brilliant tour of Cairo, Aswan, Abu Symbel and Luxor. Nagaa helped us plan our tour and she was very helpful and quick to respond. All went according to plan: pick ups and return to airports always on time, excellent transport and drivers, fantastic guides. Heba in Cairo and Ahmed in Aswan and Luxor were kind, helpful and patient. They had so much knowledge to pass on to us. Organisation and communication were perfect throughout.

Incredible guide and driver. Loved the Museum and Coptic Cairo visit - Heba our guide was fabulous! She listened and understood us and what we wanted. She had such a great sense of humour too. The tour to the museum and Coptic etc was fabulous. We learned so much. A big thank you to our driver Muhamned who was so attentive and always seemed to arrive just on time. A big big big thanks you to the Tailor Made organisers, guide and driver!

Alex and Wai's Egyptian Adventure - We did a two week trip planned out by Egypt Tailor Made. Needless to say, it was a wonderful experience. The guides were incredibly knowledgeable, the drivers were always on time and very courteous, and the logistics were planned out to perfection. Dr. Tawfik, our guide on Cairo, Memphis, Giza, and Fayoum was fantastic, and taught us so much about the ancient history, as well as modern day history and culture. If you come to Egypt, definitely go through ETM.

Pyramids, Museum, Bazaar, Mosques and much more! - As a couple we had a great experience with Egypt Tailor Made Tours. Heba was a great guide, extremely knowledgeable and attentive. Heba also knew all of the best picture angles and haggled for us with the local mercants at the Bazaar, elevating our experience (and saving us some money in the process). Mustafa was our driver, always ready and in time. Recommended!
