Extraordinary Museum tour experience - Abla saif did an excellent job as our tour guide to the old Egyptian museum! Please ask for her service when booking this reservation. Her history knowledge of the scientific mummification process is outstanding. Thank you Abla !

Day well spent in Cairo - I had a day to kill and wanted to do the touristy thing because I don't know the next time I'll have an opportunity to be in Egypt. The whole experience was AMAZING! My guide Ahmed Salah was extremely knowledgeable about Egyptian history and the significance of everything we saw at the Necropolis and the Museum. He arranged all the logistics - pick up at my hotel, the camel ride, different places to shop for souvenirs, lunch, and water. As a bonus, he took amazing pictures of the whole experience for me. I would recommend him any time.

It was a really good experience - I cannot find a way to write a review the guide Ahmed Salah who took me on an excellent tour, nor another person who acted as a tour guide. A good guide can make a huge difference on a trip to a foreign country, especially for natural history. It's important to promote those people who were really good. Thanks.

My Egyptian experience - I found Egypt tours to be a truly professional tour company. They contact you 24hrs before collection to make sure you're ready and ok. It's very important because was let down by a different company that didn't do this. A personal guide and a driver will collect you mine was Gamil who has great knowledge of Egypt's past and present. So much so that I noticed people in the museum would stare and listen closely as I did. You get a close look at the main pyramids and explanations you can take pictures and Gamil will take pictures of you. There's a camel ride near the pyramids plus a visit to a government stamped aroma shop and a government stamped Egyptian jewelry shop plus all of which are authentic. Both the driver and Gamil I found very professional, helpful and informative. I got good value for money but something greater knowledge of Egypt's rich past.

Tour with Mohamed Mahmoud and Mego 100% recommend! - Today I just finished my tour with Mohamed Mahmoud (guide) and Mego (driver). I would Recommend this tour to anybody who is interested in seeing Egypt while on a long layover or even if you have a few days. Mohamed Mahmoud was waiting outside the airport as soon as my flight landed with a sign with my name incase i had trouble finding him. He collected immediately and we headed directly to the pyramid. I wasn’t ready yet, because I Just landed and didn’t have a chance to change. He made sure he took me someplace safe to change and get ready to take Tons of pictures! First we headed to the pyramids. Mego drove right up to Every destination as closest possible, while Mohamed walked me around the pyramids and told me so much information and answered any questions I had. After walking around the pyramid we drove up to a spot where you get a view of all 3 pyramids from a distance. This is also the spot where you get the Opportunity to ride a camel, which I 100% recommend. After the camel ride we drove to the Sphinx where your also able to shop for Souvenirs. We then headed to you perfume factory where you’re able to sample oils and perfumes native to Egypt while enjoying a traditional Egyptian beverage. After you go to a Papyrus Institute where you get to see how they made paper out of Papyrus plant to document the history thousands of years ago. Lastly on my tour we went to the Egyptian museum where Mohamed walked me around the whole museum and knew so much information about every artifact, followed by a traditional Egyptian dinner. That completed the 10 hour layover tour with let’s explore Egypt, but I wasn’t ready to leave yet so Mohamed took me to a market where you can get any Souvenir possible and to get coffee at restaurant where he left me to go to the “bathroom” and came back with a T-shirt and mug he got me as a gift. My experience was beyond what I was expecting. I never felt unsafe and I would recommend this tour to Anyone who wants to see Egypt, even if you don’t have much time in the country they make the most of every moment and captured amazing photos of me every step of the way literally!

Learned a ton from the super-knowledgeable Ahmed Kamel! - Spent an absolutely incredible day exploring the pyramids and the Egyptian Museum with Ahmed Kamel, who knows so much information, it's mind blowing! Ahmed spent 3 hours with me at the pyramids and 3 hours at the museum. He patiently explained the relevant historical details of every area and artifact we encountered. I asked many questions and Ahmed knew all the answers. His familiarity with hieroglyphics and the stories and details of Egypt's history made every minute of the tour fascinating. Ahmed did a great job of telling me which attractions/experiences at the pyramid to skip (because they weren't worth the cost or I could do something similar for free) and which ones to consider seriously. Ahmed seems to know everyone, so when there's a sign that prohibits certain behaviors (e.g., climbing on a pyramid stone or taking photos), he's able to make arrangements for you to do things other tourists can't. When vendors try to hassle you, Ahmed gets them to walk away with a word or two. One of my favorite experiences that Ahmed arranged was taking a carriage ride to an area that allows you to see the most outstanding view of all 6 pyramids together. I didn't like the idea of riding a camel (it seems like an excessive amount of work for them) to this spot, but I wanted to get a photo with the camel, so Ahmed arranged for the camel to come by just for the photo! Ahmed gets the importance of great photos for tourists, so he takes many of them and even has friends and colleagues in the area to take as many as it takes until you get those epic pics you want so much. Our trip to the museum was similarly outstanding. Ahmed explained everything so well, and he has a great sense of humor, so it was fun to interact with him. I had a long trip, so I wanted to go back to my hotel to rest after the museum, but Ahmed offered to continue the tour and show me other sights anyway (and I hadn't paid for them, so it was a very generous offer). Overall, I had a wonderful experience with Ahmed Kamel, and I recommend him to everyone!
