If we had plane tickets it would have been easier - Early we were picked up on time by a very nice driver at the hotel and driven to the airport. Since we did not receive any tickets and did not know which flight we were booked on, we (my daughter and I) already had problems getting into the airport building at all. No help or response from the organizer. After a long back and forth we were helped by an airport employee. We felt really helpless and uncomfortable. The plane arrived in Cairo on time. Our guide Khaled Omar picked us up on time at the airport and guided us all day. He speaks super German and has told us so many interesting things about Egypt .... He has always responded to our wishes and we were allowed to look and take photos everywhere in peace. Lunch was offered as a buffet in a restaurant. It tasted good to us. On the return flight (9:25 p.m., arrival 10:55 p.m.) we again had no ticket and no flight number, but there we simply followed our tour group and received our tickets at check. The plane arrived in Hurghada on time. Our driver was already waiting for us there. The tour description stated a duration of 12 h. We were traveling from 6:20 a.m. to 11:25 p.m. (without delays). Conclusion: Drive to the airport and back to the hotel: top Outbound flight: flop Guided tour of Cairo: top top Trips in Cairo by minibus: top Return flight: too late
