Compact day trip to Cairo - The day trip from Soma Bay to Cairo was great. Despite the long day (pick up at 5.00am and return to the hotel around midnight) we would do it again. Tour guide Khaled is wonderful! He explains a lot of interesting things in very good German. The visit to the Egyptian Museum was very good through him as a companion, as he showed the highlights that you don't get to as a layman. The camel ride at the pyramids was our highlight. We could have spent more time at the pyramids. The visit to the perfume manufactory is not absolutely necessary, even if it was nice.
You have to get involved and trust in the type of booking and some sparse communication via WhatsApp. But you're not disappointed either. Everything was very well organized.

Sehr empfehlenswert, amazing day! - We had a wonderful trip around Cairo and Gizeh. Flights and transfers were all organised and on time. At the airport in Cairo we met our little lovely group (we were just 4 people) and our very nice guide for the day. His german language was perfect and his knowledge about the old and new egyptian culture was outstanding. The atmosphere togehter was very friendly and funny. We saw the egyptian museum, the pyramids, the sphinx, the city center with mosques and bazars. For lunch we visited a nice restaurant close to the pyramids, with delicious food. Cairo is a very interesting place. It was possible to take time for pictures, shopping and everything. Our guide managed the trip for us perfectly, so there was no need to worry about anything.
So all in all we definately recommend to do the trip. But be aware, that you need a lot energy, since it takes 24h from beginning to end. But that was worth it for sure.

Everything to our complete satisfaction - So at first it felt very adventurous. We only had a note saying that we had paid - so hopefully, because the writing was not legible for us.
So we stood at the agreed time at the agreed place and waited and hoped that the booking is not a scam.
And what can I say?
We were picked up on time and taken to the airport, where we were flown in a small plane to Cairo. At the airport the taxi driver received us (he recognized us from photos he had been sent) and we had spent an impressive day at the museum and the pyramids.
Our needs were taken into consideration at all times.
This organizer is highly recommended, even if everything seems a bit chaotic at the beginning.

awesome excursion trip - We booked the 2 day trip from Hurghada to Cairo with flight.
Everything was perfectly organized starting with hotel/flight/pickup and the whole program flow.
It took some getting used to, to handle everything via WhatsApp but just worked perfectly. We would book there again anytime !!

Great experience, Very good tour guide (sharif) - It was a unique mega experience. We were there in August 2023. The tour guide tried super hard, was patient and explained everything to us superbly! Thank you for the unforgettable day even if it was very hot. Have taken enough breaks to drink. I hope those who book this tour get sharif as a tour guide. 🙏🏽
By the way, a little tip: Be sure to book the flight and not the bus to Cairo!!! Otherwise, you will hardly be able to endure the day.

Visit to Cairo 1 day - The cancellation of the airline on the scheduled day, and the huge delay on the day we went, made us miss the morning of visits and lunch.
As far as possible, we visited the museum and the pyramids. The guide made every effort to make sure everything went well, making value to the positive evaluation.

Not good if you don’t speak German you miss half the morning as they put you with German speaking guide - For half of the trip they put me with a German speaking guide who didn’t translate everything so I missed out on a lot of information.
Two other guests had their flight back to hurghada at 19:40 whilst I had to wait around on my own until 22:20 I was not happy with this! I booked my trip many months in advance so the tour operator had plenty of time to get it right and not make me wait around for hours.
My English speaking guide when I finally met her was wonderful but I would only book this trip if you speak German otherwise you miss out on lots of information from the first half of the morning. The German speaking guide was lovely and translated the odd word but I do not speak German I was not happy.

Disgusting service!!! - Really!!! Are yous having a laugh,asking me for a review?!
I booked a day trip to Cairo through Viator weeks ago! I was so looking forward to the trip. I went to reception at 4am to be picked up and the tour guide/operator didn’t come!!
I was so upset and angry was crying because they still took the money out my bank!!
Absolutely disgusting shocking to say the least!!
I’ve now had to book elsewhere!!

Poor customer service - Our booking was canceled , informed by FTS that due to airline.
Agreed different day and informed return flight at 20.00 then evening before this was changed to much later return time. No response to messages and calls from me.
Flights were available for the 4 of us at the original time with the same airline.
No extra tour to fill additional time just meal.
Requested refund and told request would be sent to relevant department.
Then flights sent again on day were leaving with no explanation.
After many emails eventually received refund although they tried not to and then only partially. Whole experience stress full and very disappointed that we couldn’t go to Cairo when the flights were there.
