Amazing sites, but the schedule is too packed, and missing out on the National Museum was disappointing. - While the destinations on this tour were incredible, the itinerary felt far too tight for just one day. Visiting the Egyptian Museum and the Citadel alone required more time than the schedule allowed, and unfortunately, we couldn’t even visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization due to time constraints. This was a major disappointment, as it's one of the key highlights of the tour. The Egyptian Museum offers an extensive collection of ancient artifacts, including the famous Tutankhamun treasures, and it really deserves several hours to explore fully. We had to rush through, which made it hard to appreciate the richness of the exhibits. At the Citadel, with its stunning views of Cairo and the iconic Mosque of Muhammad Ali, the time was again too short. We hurried through the grounds, unable to take in the architecture and history in depth. Overall, while the sites we did visit were fantastic, the tour schedule was overly ambitious, and skipping the National Museum due to lack of time was a real letdown. I would recommend splitting these attractions over two days for a more fulfilling experience.
