- Mosque of Muhammad Ali - The Alabaster Mosque at the Citadel of Salah el-Din sits atop a limestone hill overlooking Cairo and is the most important mosque in the city. Still used as a place of worship today by the Muslims of Cairo, the architectural masterpiece opens its doors to visitors of all faiths. The lower part of the Mosque is clad inside and out with Alabaster, while the top part is constructed from the limestone cladding removed from the Pyramids of Giza.Inside the mosque your guide will introduce you to the basics of the beliefs of Islam, including a translation of the most common prayers.
- Khan Al-Khalili - Khan el Khalili bazaar, your guide will give you an introduction to the famous markets which claim to have inspired Christopher Columbus to discover the USA. Enjoy free time to stroll through the maze of streets and try your luck bargaining with the shop owners for a souvenir of your trip to Egypt. This is a private tour allowing you to determine the amount of time spent at each of the sites during the tour. Excellent private tour! - Joseph was an excellent and knowledgeable guide! Great english and provided an in-depth learning experience at every location. There were three in our party and he made sure we were comfortable and stayed on schedule without feeling rushed or stressed in finishing at a certain time. The lunch location was for tourists and basic food. Would have preferred a more unique and authentic option but was ok. I suggest allowing the customer help determine what is preferred within reason. Thank you to Joseph for a great experience!

We had the pleaser of having Mohamed... - <p>We had the pleaser of having Mohamed Osama as our guide on this tour. He discussed in great detail the history of Egypt, their culture, and their religion. He welcomed discussions and questions on the differenced between our culture and religion. He has a well versed knowledge base and I highly enourage booking this tour and requestion Mohamed as your guide.</p>

This is absolutely the way to see... - <p>This is absolutely the way to see three of the biggest attractions in Cairo and be home in time for dinner. We do not usually book private tours, but were so grateful we did in Cairo as the city is so packed and busy, it would be difficult to navigate on our own or to keep up with a larger group. Our guide was kind and knowledgable, picked us up at Katameya which is outside the city center, and even translated so we could haggle in the bazaar. I didn't deduct a star for this, but would recommend you not get the lunch that comes with this tour. It is clearly a restaurant catering to tour groups and was poor buffet quality.</p>

I heard and read a lot of bad 'SCAM... - <p>I heard and read a lot of bad 'SCAM' experience in Egypt and during recent Europe travel viator was really satisfactory choice. But this time it was So Disappointed One to my family and friends who came to Egypt without using viator laughted us a lot.!!<br/>
I booked around 7 tours from viator but the price in logal compare with official website prices of local agencies who guided us was really shocking.. I can not understand the Commission of viator rate!! how it can be happen... Additionally, friends who booked from local hotels and agencies directly had a lot lower prices... I didn't even talk about it.<br/>
For example2 adults and 1 child<br/>
- Pyramids sounds and Light Show: viator 12972 higher, local 75 <br/>
- 1 day tour Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Memphis, Sakara: viator 225 80 higher, local 125<br/>
