• Islamic Cairo - our guide will pick you up at 9:00 AM from your hotel to explore one of Egypt’s oldest streets, “El Moez Le Din Allah” Street. This historic street is lined with various monuments, including Bab El Fetouh and Bab El Nasr. You’ll then head to the northern part of the city, El Darb El Asfar, the oldest quarter of Islamic Cairo, where you’ll visit the Barqouq Mosque & School in Nahassen, El Aqmar Mosque, the Mosque of El Saleh Tala, The Blue Mosque, and the Dome, Hospital & School of Qalawoon, among others.
• Cairo Tower - Next, enjoy a panoramic view of this magnificent city, with its blend of modern and ancient districts. The Cairo Tower, located on Gezira Island (Zamalek) just north of the Museum of Modern Art, offers one of the best views of Cairo. This 187-meter tall tower, designed to resemble a lotus plant, is made of granite and stands about 45 meters taller than the Great Pyramid at Giza. It ranks as the fourth tallest tower in the world.
• El-Fishawy Cafe - Then, visit El-Fishawy Café, a historic café that has hosted kings, princes, and artists. Originally a small local café (Ahwa), it has become the most popular coffee shop in the El-Hussein area of Cairo. Established in 1771 AD, El-Fishawy Café is the oldest café in the heart of Khan El-Khalili and has been a gathering place for famous artists and intellectuals who have shared stories and events passed down through generations.
