The tour guide will collect guests at 8:00 AM from their hotel to commence a day tour of Ancient Cairo, also known as Christian Coptic Cairo. This area is one of the most significant sites visited by the Holy Family, where their spiritual presence is still felt. Although their stay was brief, the Governor of what was then Fustat, angered by the collapse of idols at Jesus’ arrival, sought to harm the Child. However, they found refuge in a cave, above which the Church of Abu Serga (St. Sergius) was later built. This site, along with the entire area of the Fort of Babylon, is a pilgrimage destination not only for Egyptians but for Christians worldwide. The area exudes a sense of spirituality, devotion, and tranquility. Visitors will also have the opportunity to see and enter the Church of Abu-Sergah and St. Barbara, the Hanging Church, and the ancient Jewish synagogue, Ben Ezra Synagogue.
