Starting at 8:00 AM, your guide will accompany you from your hotel to embark on a day trip to the historical Christian Coptic Cairo. This ancient area is recognized as one of the key locations visited by the Holy Family. Despite their brief stay, the spiritual essence, they left behind, still lingers. The Holy Family had to seek refuge in a cave as the then Governor of Fustat became hostile after witnessing miracles performed by Jesus. Later on, on top of this cave, the Church of Abu Serga (St. Sergious) was built. The entire locale of the Fort of Babylon is not just a place of reverence for Egyptians, but it also attracts Christian pilgrims globally. The entire vicinity emanates a profound sense of piety and tranquility. Within this area, you’ll have the opportunity to explore and enter the Church of Abu-Sergah and St. Barbara, the Hanging Church, and the ancient Jewish synagogue known as the Ben Ezra Synagogue.
