• Luxor Museum - Next, you will be taken to Luxor Museum, which opened in 1975. This two-story building houses items such as grave goods from the tomb of the 18th dynasty pharaoh Tutankhamun (KV 62) and a collection of 26 New Kingdom statues found in a cache at Luxor Temple in 1989. The mummies of two pharaohs, Ahmose and Ramses I, are also on display.

The house, surrounded by a garden, has been restored and decorated with pictures and tools from the excavations.
