Duration: 8 hours
Cancellation: 1 day learn more
Highlights
  • The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - Explore the renowned Egyptian museum, home to the largest collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts. With 120,000 objects on display, it would take days to see everything. Therefore, you’ll focus on the museum’s highlights, such as the treasures of the golden pharaoh Tutankhamen and the royal mummies (additional ticket required for the mummies room).

  • Khan Al-Khalili - Visit the oldest market in the Middle East, established in the 13th century. It is the most famous market in Egypt and the Middle East, featuring numerous ancient Islamic buildings adorned with beautiful carvings and calligraphy.

  • Great Sphinx - The Great Sphinx of Giza, often simply called the Sphinx, is a limestone statue of a reclining sphinx, a mythical creature with a lion’s body and a human head. Facing directly from West to East, it stands on the Giza Plateau on the west bank of the Nile in Giza, Egypt. The Sphinx’s face is generally believed to represent the pharaoh Khafre. Carved from bedrock, the Sphinx has been restored with layers of blocks. It measures 73 m (240 ft) in length, 20 m (66 ft) in height, and 19 m (62 ft) in width at its rear haunches. It is the oldest known monumental sculpture in Egypt and is commonly believed to have been designed, sculpted, and constructed by ancient Egyptians of the Old Kingdom during the reign of pharaoh Khafre (c. 2558–2532 BC).

  • Pyramids of Giza - Visit the Giza pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure from the 4th dynasty, built around 4,560 years ago for immortality. The highlight is the Great Pyramid, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world.

THE BEST DAY TOUR EVER!!! - Ali (our tour guide), with his driver, they came to pick us up at cairo airport and drove us to the hotel to drop off our luggage and then we started our tour. We were amazed by the beauty of the pyramids and the sphinx, so majestic! It was very hot because we came in August, but for all the wonder we saw and all the interesting things we discovered about Egypt, I can say it was really worth it! We loved everything! Ali will explain you all the history and legends of ancient Egypt! Then Ali took us to refresh ourselves in a local restaurant (complete with air conditioning) with a panoramic view of the pyramids! We even went to the papyrus making gallery and the egyptian museum! Ohh, he's also a great photographer! Haha! Thank you so much Ali for your kindness and for this Day Tour at Cairo! It was short but intense! Book your itinerary with Ali!

Excellent Tour, Great Time! - Laila (or Lily for short) was a phenomenal tour guide and a kind and calming presence amongst the madness of these stops! This was a solo tour and it felt like a friend showing me around. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the pieces in the Egyptian Museum in particular and had answers to all the questions I had. I opted into aspects like going inside the Great Pyramid (900 EGP) and a camel ride + pics ($20 negotiated down to $14), and felt good about there not being pressure to do these. We stopped at a nice Papyrus shop between the Giza Plateau and the Musejm (which I expected reading other reviews) as a look into how papyrus is made, with it mainly being an opportunity for the shop to sell you on a piece. Just go in knowing whether you intend to buy something or not (I did after haggling on the price) and kindly decline to purchase after the creation process demo if not. Lunch was at a local place, we took our time and had an awesome chat at a local cafe in the market. Throughout Laila was great at keeping us on track without rushing through, we went from ~10:30am to ~5:30pm. Great pics also. Would recommend!

Cairo private tour - We had a wonderful time. Taxi arrived on time for plane to Cairo all went smoothly and arrived safely. Our driver was waiting to us and we met our lovely guide Laila who was an expert and taught us so much. Egyptian museum was incredible and Laila explained everything beautifully. Our hide and driver looked after the 4 of us beautifully, ensuring our comfort and safety at all times. Pyramids were amazing albeit incredibly hot and humid. Thank goodness for our air conditioned mini bus. A wonderful day. Highly recommend this trip with this company.

Egypt- Much more than the pyramids - Our trip from start to finish was a wonderful experience. Initial communication with Rosemary via email helped set our itinerary even with short notice. We were welcomed at the airport with our expeditor (Mohamed) who also provided great dinner recommendations such as Abou Tarek and Taboula. Our tour guide (Ali) was friendly, informative, and very responsive to all our questions. If time permitted, we would definitely have eaten a Zooba more than once (thanks, Ali!). We appreciated the opportunity to enjoy amazing cuisine at all our stops as we learned about Egyptian history and would highly recommend this tour company for anyone traveling here! 🇪🇬

The most amazing experience in Cairo - We ordered a one day tour to Cairo with flight tickets both ways. The tour exceeded all expectations and left a long-lasting positive impression. The tour was well organized and thought through. Our guide Ali was an amazing guide who planned everything also considering our input and wishes. We were only two people during the tour and it felt very exclusive and relaxed. Everything happened at the pace we preferred and we could spend enough time at every location. Our guide Ali had an extensive knowledge, which he gladly shared with us, and he also had a very pleasant personality. During the tour we visited the Egyptian Museum, Giza Pyramids, Great Sphinx, ate at a rooftop restaurant in a hotel with the view to the Pyramids, visited a papyrus making shop and an oil / perfume shop as well as made it to the Khan El Khalili market right before going to the airport. This tour has left a deep positive impression as well as our guide Ali and the driver. So all in all, I 100% recommend to choose this company and the tour. Thank you once again for the great tour and a special thanks to our guide Ali! 🙏

Holy land tour - We went to Cairo 3 weeks ago with the holy land tour group from Texas, USA. Our tour guide, Ali and Afifi was excellent. Ali was amazing in our English speaking group and was knowledgeable and so friendly and accommodating and so patient for all of us that in fact we are the largest tour group of 53 people. We are then divided to 2 groups. The experience was awesome. I highly recommend Ali!
