You can rely on Emo - Syed was the best driver. Accommodating and hospitalable. He took me every where in Cairo. I was able to go on 2 tours and other places I wanted to visit

Excellent driver New vehicle! - Very professional driver. He was kind and wearing a shirt and tie. His SUV was clean and new. He stopped and purchased water and food if we wanted. I wish we could have had him for our trip back. Unfortunately with this booking system you can never tell who will pick you up. Most cars are pretty bad. Filled with dust and smoke. The pictures do NOT show the reality of what you will see picking you up. Fortunately we had a wonderful experience with our driver. I’m so happy to have met and ridden with him.

Pleasant Experience - This was a transfer from Cairo airport to our hotel in Alexandria. Mohammad, our driver, was waiting for us at the airport with a sedan. The trip was an enjoyable experience, even with Cairo traffic, and Mohammad even introduced us to the pronunciation of several simple Arabic phrases. We requested him as a driver on our return to Cairo and it was honored by Emo Tours. We recommend this company

Pleasant Experience - This was a car transfer from Cairo airport to a hotel in Alexandria. The driver, Mohammad, was ready at the airport when we arrived. The trip to Alexandria went smoothly except for the traffic getting out of Cairo during rush hour. Mohammad is an excellent driver and helped introduce us to the pronunciation of Arabic phrases. We enjoyed having him as the driver and requested him for the return trip which was honored by Emo Tours. A very good experience and would not hesitate to recommend Emo Tours.

Mohammed was great! - We booked Emo for our transfer from Cairo to Alexandria. Our driver Mohammed was wonderful. He entertained us on the drive by pointing out things of interest and teaching us Arabic. Mohammed made it a very pleasant and enjoyable journey, We would certainly recommend Emo tours based on this experience.

3 AM nightmare with a driver who got lost and did not have data on his phone to use GPS to get us to our destination - We were assigned Waleed as a driver and it was the worst and scariest experience of our two-week trip in Egypt. I appreciated that Emo Tours would message on WhatsApp and found that our flight time had changed, so they adjusted the pick up time. We got picked up after midnight from the Cairo airport. There were so many communication issues. We were told to send photos of where we where. I shared my location in WhatsApp many times. We expected the driver to be inside like other times we got picked up. We were never told where to go and we did not know if the driver was coming to us (and even knew where we were). I got the impression that our driver was not even at the airport yet. Again, communication was horrible. Emo Tours did not let is know until the following day that drivers cannot go inside the airport, we had to come outside. But they did not tell us that (I have the chat screenshots of this). Even still, we did not know where to go outside to. I communicated several times that we are foreign and we do not understand how this airport works. So we were picked up later than expected, which is a lot when you are traveling from Cairo to Alexandria. After a few hours, we got to Alexandria. I always check on Google maps where my drivers are going to make sure they take us where we are supposed to go. Waleed passed the turn for the city. I told him to stop. I told him to turn around. He did not listen to me. I am showing him on my phone where we need to go. He would not stop (but he did stop earlier in the trip to smoke). He asks for the name of the hotel, which he should have already had from Emo Tours! I give him the name of the hotel. It turns out that he has no data on his phone, so he is not even able to use GPS to get us to our destination. I was horrified. He then had to use MY phone and my GPS with Google Maps, but even then, he could not follow simple turn left or turn right directions. It was after 3 AM, we were exhausted and trying to direct our driver to follow the directions on my phone. We were really afraid for awhile and I could not contact Emo Tours for help because the drive was using my phone. I contacted Emo Tours to complain and also contracted Viator. We requested a partial refund and it was denied. I made a specific request that this driver not work with Viator guests again. No customer should deal with a driver who does not know your final destination, does not have GPS, and who refuses to stop or turn around when told to (because they are going the wrong direction). This was in my top three worst experiences in a car when traveling overseas.
