An exceptional guide and experience - Great experience with Mona Gomaa our guide. she is flexible, knowledgeable, fun and very professional. We had three full days with an excellent driver and many different locations. We planned our interary together and were most pleased and satisfied.

Excellent tour - I booked a Full Day tour through Cairo through TripAdvisor, organised by Go Travel Egypt. Overall I was very happy about the experience. My guide Mohammed was very (!) knowledgeable, provided me with a lot of very interesting information at the various sites, knew how to take the best pictures (thank you!), and adapted the tour according to my wishes. Our driver was always back right on time to pick us up between sites and skillfully manoeuvred us through the dense Cairo traffic. I also appreciated that both the driver and guide were always wearing a mask when we were together indoors (e.g. in the car, the museum). One thing that I bothered me is that the Ben Ezra Syngogue and the Mosque of Amr Ibn El-Aas were officially on the programme, but both are currently closed due to renovations. I was also not informed about this in my email exchanges about the programme with Mister Mostafa before the tour. This should not happen. However, I was very pleased that my tour guide then added the Saints Sergius and Bacchus Church on the tour day as a replacement. I just wish I had gotten this information beforehand.

Old Cairo a Must See - An amazing day sightseeing old Cairo, Mohammed was our guide and from the offset he was exceptional....a wealth of knowledge of Egyptian history, his passion for the subject matter was evident and his explainations were descriptive and clear and he was happy to elobaorate when needed. The Egyptian museum was a must do experience, probably worthy of a day in itself. We have probably forgotten most of what we learnt already but I feel like we walked away with great memories and lots of respect for the long history of Egypt and Cairo. My wife and I have done the likes of Rome and Paris and Egypt surpasses them in regards to the mystery and romance of the ancient civilisation. Worthy of mentioning are the various other sites we were shown on the tour, from the religious icons such as the hanging church and Babylon to the Mosque of Muhammad Ali it was all inspiring and powerful visually as well as emotionally. The view over Cairo (from the Citadel) took me by surprise, although I could never get use to the crowded markets and equally chaotic roads seeing the density and scale of the city was something else....only regret was not seeing it on the clearest of days as we could only see a faint shillouete of the Pyramids in the distance. To sum it up, extremely satisfied with the tour and what it offered. Our guide however was an excellent ambassador and he made this something even better for us, we truely appreciate your time and knowledge and thank you for giving us these memories.

Cairo Day Trip - Out of all the things I did in Cairo, this was my favorite, and mostly it is because of my guide Suzi. She was wonderful!!!! If I could give 6 stars I would, just for a Suzi. I made the mistake, thinking the tour began and 8am, not 9am, when the company had confirmed with me for the 9am start. When I contacted them, at 8am, they were understanding, and kindly mentioned we had arranged for 9am. The tour was great. Suzi had an itinerary ready to go, with a plan on how to get the most out of the day. She is extremely knowledgeable, very kind, and wonderfully articulate about each site. This is not just a city tour, it is one where you will learn and understand the landmarks, the history and even better, why things are there. She made suggestions all through the tour, where to buy things at a fair price, how to haggle if needed, and adapted my experience based on the things I was interested in. If you are lucky enough to get her as your guide, listen to her, she will take you places and show you amazing things. For lunch, she asked if I had tried falafel and babaganoush, which I said I had. She asked if I had had it in Cairo yet—when I said no, she smiled, “Then you have not had true falafel and babaganoush.” She took me to a local spot, ordered everything, and the two sandwiches were incredible!! It was great being in a place with other Egyptians, where local Egyptians choose to eat, and not a restaurant only for tourists! And she was correct, I had not had proper falafel and babaganoush until then. Suzi was wonderful all the way until the end. As a man, and as an American, when I was dropped off at my hotel, I went to give her a hug to say thank you. Which I know better and know is not correct in the Muslim faith; she handled it with style and grace. She didn’t make me feel bad, or awkward, she smiled and gently declined. Thank you Suzi, for being the best part of my Cairo experience!

Absolutely recommended!! - We had a wonderful time in Cairo!! Emy was a fantastic guide helping us to see everything we wanted and accommodating our requests.. I would definitely recommend their tours and next time in Cairo I would for sure book with them again :)

Well run company with amazing guide - I booked a full day private tour of Cairo with Go Travel Egypt via Viator. The company is well run. I received a quick reply with my booking confirmation from the owner and he made some suggestions about how to customize the tour. We corresponded via email several times and he was very responsive. He even called halfway through our tour to check how everything was. Emy was our guide, and she was amazing. She met us at the hotel early and had the whole day planned out. She knew Cairo extremely well, was very nice, and customized the day to add places we wanted to see and skip what we were not interested in. Throughout the day she answered all our questions and was very pleasant to talk to. And, her English was perfect. I have traveled to over 60 countries and always book private tours. I can say without hesitation that she is in the top 10% of all tour guides. Make sure to request her if you book with this company.

Great tour! - Emy is an top notch tour guide! She was knowledgeable, friendly, and super helpful when walking around Khan el-Khalili! We had some traffic so she made sure to structure the day so that we could see everything! The Egyptian Museum was so much more informative with Emy as our guide! She even accommodated a side trip to eat Egyptian pancakes! 10 stars. Our driver was great too! Always close by, the car was always cool. Great team! Also, Mostafa was great too! We had to move our tour day twice and he was very accommodating and friendly. Don’t hesitate to book!

Wonderful whole day Cairo private tour - My tour guide, Ali, picked me on time and with a warm smile at the hotel. Along with the owner, Mr. Mostafa, he was flexible when I requested to adjust the itinerary a bit to fit in with my interests. The car was comfortable and the driver a reliable and safe one. I got to the interesting sites listed on the itinerary, and switch the museum (which I was visiting with friends the next day) for a more extended time in Old Cairo. Ali was very knowledgeable, patient with all my questions, and willing to spend as much time as I needed at certain sites. He also helped me get souvenirs and was willing to have lunch at a local hangout. I got to visit two historic mosques near the citadel at the end and Ali's insights into what is important was invaluable. The owner, Mr. Mostafa, called to check on me and ensure that my experience was a good one. I felt very well looked after, got a great introduction to Cairo and its history. Traffic in Cairo is not for the faint of heart, but the driver and Ali navigated expertly and we were able to cover a lot of ground. I highly recommend their services as they will go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience.

Amazing Whole day Cairo Private Day Tour - A friend of mine and I had this amazing whole day Private Day Tour of Cairo on May 16, 2018, Wednesday. Our tour guide showed at the hotel on the specified time of pick up. He called the driver and we started heading to our tour. Our tour guide is very knowledgeable on the places that we've visited and the history behind these incredible places. He gave us enough time to make sure that we enjoy every place and also plenty of opportunities to take good photos. He asked and volunteered to take our photos whenever we needed to do so. He takes his time showing us the places and we didn't feel being rushed up which happened a lot on the tours that we've have had before. We are completely happy and satisfied at the end of the tour. If I only knew how excellent service this company provides then I definitely would have booked the pyramids tour with them the day before so that we could have 2 days of great tour in Cairo. The boss of the company checked with us twice to ensure that we are getting excellent service. And if ever I come back to Cairo, I will absolutely book all my tours on this company without having a second thought.
