• Menkaure Pyramid - Menkaure’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple once housed several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added to the valley temple.
• Great Sphinx - The Sphinx dates back to the reign of King Khafre. In the New Kingdom, Amenhotep II dedicated a new temple to Hauron-Haremakhet, which was later expanded by subsequent rulers.
• Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - Continue your tour to Saqqara, located 27 km southwest of Cairo. Visit the Step Pyramid, built for King Zoser, which is a significant part of the evolution from the simple mastaba to the pyramid’s well-known form.
• Memphis and Saqqara - Proceed to Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, home to the colossal statue of Ramses II and the great Alabaster Sphinx. This city dates back to 3100 BC.
• Nile River - Enjoy a relaxing Felucca ride on the Nile, where you can experience Cairo’s vibrant nightlife or bask in the warm sun during the day. After the ride, your guide will return you to your hotel.
