Best guides in Cairo! - I had the most amazing time with my tour guide Martina and driver Hiny. Spent a wonderful day exploring the pyramids at Saqqara and Giza. Martina was so knowledgeable and showed me many great stops in between. Both Hiny and Martina took extra good care of me and ensured that I felt comfortable and safe. Tour around pyramids with camel ride - We were on a pyramid tour with camels with our tourguide Martina and driver Nassir. Martina was a very resourcefull guide with a lot of knowledge, and Nassir was very nice and funny driver.

Amazing tour in the pyramids Saqqara Memphis - Martina my tour guide and the driver Nasser provided an excellent tour. Although I arrived at the airport a bit early, they picked me up ahead of schedule. She offered various explanations during the drive and was very kind. They even recommended a local breakfast spot. I learned a lot from her detailed explanations about the pyramids and the Sphinx. The traditional Egyptian lunch was also fantastic. I highly recommend this tour.

Very very limited - I'm not used to commenting, but now... The guide spoke English and not French. Annoying because we had reserved the option "French". Guide, sure, smiling but who gave no precise info about anything and answered no questions at all. Only banalities or very light or "ah that, we don't know (in English, of course). I doubt he's an Egyptologist, even I could say that. He offered us to visit the pyramid of mothers (not booked that either and as we were bitching because pyramid unknown to the battalion, we had the 3rd after discussions). He then asked us to pay for our tickets by card and that he would give us EGPs instead. We also refused... After the restaurant, visit a perfumery advertised as an oil museum as in the days of the Egyptians (tourist trap rather because no info on it, just of the sale) and which does not appear in the program (45 minutes wasted).. We refused the other visits he wanted to make (papyrus and spices, supposedly also as in the days of the Egyptians...). We insisted he take us back to the hotel. We don't understand the good reviews... Or, it's a matter of guidance but clearly, we don't recommend this excursion. The price is low, sure and the tour complete because restaurant and camels (TB that though) but do not go if you want to learn things. And refuse to be brought into tourist traps that take longer than cultural tours. Too bad.
